The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, August 29 Review - Billy Plots Adam’s Murder - Chloe Intervenes, Saves Adam's Life

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Thursday, August 29. tease that Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will return home to the Chancellor estate and will be surprised when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) follows him through the door. Adam will berate Kevin and accuse him of trying to mess with his head, after everything he did for him and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Kevin won’t know what Adam’s talking about.

Adam will confront Kevin with the text asking him to meet on Route 7, and Kevin will adamantly deny sending it. Adam will wonder if Chloe may have sent it, and Kevin will tell him that there’s no way Chloe would risk her family by doing something like that. Adam will warn Kevin not to cross him before leaving.

After Adam’s gone, Kevin will then ask Chloe whether she sent the text, and she’ll deny it. Chloe will quickly deduce that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) sent it. They’ll discuss Billy’s struggles, and Chloe will be afraid that Billy is going to do something to really hurt Adam. She’ll want Kevin to go make sure Billy is safe and that he isn’t going to hurt anyone.

Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, gum-chewing Billy will curtly tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that he’s going out of town on business and he has to leave tonight. Victoria will balk and will wonder why Billy has to go, and this will lead to semi-argument over whether Billy should go. Ultimately, she’ll be ok with him going, and he’ll assure her that if things go like he’s hoping, then it will change everything. They’ll embrace, and Billy will say that he has a feeling that Adam won’t be waging war on anyone while he’s gone.

Later, Kevin will run into Victoria and after some small talk, Kevin will ask how Billy is doing and whether he’s happy. Victoria will say that Billy’s ok, but that Adam coming back stirred up a lot for him. Victoria will open up a bit about Billy’s problems, and Victoria will mention that Billy’s on a business trip. Kevin, satisfied that Billy is out of town, will quickly leave.

Victoria will then call Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Billy’s business trip to California and learn that Jack didn’t send Billy on any trip. Adam will walk in and demand to know what’s going on with Billy. Adam will say that Billy accused him of putting Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) doll in their bedroom, and Victoria will blast Adam for what he’s doing to the Newmans and say that Billy’s out of town. After Adam’s gone, she’ll leave Billy a voicemail message saying that she talked to Jack, and that whatever he’s thinking about doing, don’t.

Meanwhile, outside in the dark, gum-chewing Billy will get into his car, and take a photo of Adam’s mother’s handkerchief. He’ll send Adam the photo along with a text saying,“see you soon.” Back at his penthouse, Adam will get the text and leave to head out to Route 7.

Once he gets there, Adam will call out, “All right, you wanted me, you got me, now show your face!” In his car, Billy will try to run Adam down, as Adam stands there stunned. Suddenly, Chloe will appear and push Adam out of the way. Tires will squeal as Billy swerves to try to avoid hitting Chloe.
