The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, September 5, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will battle confusion. After he awakens at the Chancellor boathouse, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will fill Billy in on why he’s there. She’ll insist she stopped him from killing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), but Billy will be in disbelief. He won’t remember the crash or plotting Adam’s murder.
Chloe will believe she’s the only person who can truly help Billy. She’ll plan to give it her best shot while Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) drops by Adam’s place. He’ll look around the penthouse despite Adam’s denial about having the tablet. Nate will note that accessing medical information illegally is a serious crime. He’ll suggest he could call the cops, but Adam won’t seem concerned.
Before Nate leaves, he’ll offer a warning. Nate will argue that Adam should leave him out of whatever he’s cooking up. That goes for Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), too. Later, Adam will enjoy playing with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) in the park. After Connor scampers off, Adam will meet with a woman who scored a three-month supply of Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) experimental drug. She’ll indicate that doubling the dosage will drastically worsen the side effects, but Adam will promise he understands.
At home, Y&R spoilers say Adam will gaze at a prescription bottle and suggest that Victor brought this on himself. He’ll turn his attention back to Connor and note that it’s time to call it a day. Connor will worry that Adam is sick like Victor, but Adam will insist Grandpa is going to be just fine. He’ll argue that Victor is invincible.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers state that Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) fears will grow. Chloe will bring Kevin up to speed on Billy’s memory gaps and suggest it’s like some other part him’s taking over. Despite Kevin’s protests, Chloe will insist she’s the best person to handle this. She won’t think Billy can go back to his old life without getting the help he needs.
At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will once again establish that they make a good team. However, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will still be a problem for Kyle. He’ll hate that Theo’s part of the Grand Phoenix opening as well as Summer’s life. She’ll remind Kyle that their personal lives are off-limits before they opt for a change of scenery.
At Society, Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will discuss some changes. They’ll talk about Kyle accepting the interim CEO gig and “Kola’s” decision to move to a new place. It won’t be long until Summer and Kyle appear. Nearby, Theo will listen in and summon Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow) to stir up trouble. Kyle won’t be pleased at all when Zoe makes her grand entrance.
Zoe will be ecstatic over Theo’s decision to include her, but Kyle will insist Theo’s using her to mess with him. Even so, Zoe will just be glad Theo’s jumpstarting her career. Afterward, Summer will express concern to Theo about his continued feud with Kyle. Theo will contend that he just doesn’t want Kyle to lose his edge, but Summer won’t buy that. She’ll think it seems more like Theo wants to destroy Kyle and Lola’s marriage.
Theo will find Summer’s direct approach sexy and will point out if “Kola” explodes, it’ll be because of Kyle’s deception. He’ll insist they hold power in their hands, and they’ll hook up in Theo’s suite later. Meanwhile, Kyle will return to Jabot. When Lola pops in, Kyle will complain about Theo and his grudge. He’ll laugh in agreement when Lola notes that Theo seems like a jealous ex. They’ll decide to put Theo out of their minds and head home to celebrate.
Back with Nate, he’ll find Abby and insist his suspicions must be correct. Nate will be convinced Adam’s the one behind the tablet theft. He’ll fret about Adam possibly using Victor’s medical info against him, and Abby will admit it’s wise to prepare for the worst.
