The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will continue to feel lost and like something is missing in his life. As Y&R viewers know, he recently made a rather impulsive decision when he decided to step away from his position at Jabot. He had been having a difficult time there, where he was continually angry and gruff with his co-CEO Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Then he seemed to have an epiphany that he’d be happier if he found something else to do with his life.
Well, now it’s time for him to figure out what he wants to do going forward, and he seems to be in a weird place. He and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are in very different places work-wise. Victoria’s got a full plate right now as CEO of Newman, and she’s frequently busy with work and doesn’t have time for Billy. And then there’s Billy, who has nothing but time on his hands. He frequently seems lost, and he’s got no real direction.
Really, the only routine that Billy’s got right now consists of his therapy sessions…and one other problematic thing. He’s been drinking alone more and more, and on one occasion went to a little dive bar outside of Genoa City. He saw Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) there and seemed to enjoy chatting with her, but his main point for going there was to brood, drink, and contemplate life.
The whole thing doesn’t seem altogether healthy for Billy, and according to Y&R spoilers, he’ll end up going to the dive bar again to get away, perhaps while Victoria thinks he’s elsewhere. And as it turns out, Amanda will also continue to frequent the same dive bar. She seems to enjoy getting away from Genoa City and just hanging out in anonymity.
According to Y&R spoilers, Amanda and Billy will encounter each other again at the bar. They seemed to really hit it off when they were stranded there during the windstorm, and they had an easy conversation – something that was refreshing for each of them, given all they’ve each been through recently. Billy will even open up to Amanda and fill her in on some of the struggles he’s had with his dark side.
And for Billy to open up like that, he must feel really comfortable with Amanda. Perhaps Amanda will share some of her own hopes and fears with Billy as well, and we’ll see a relationship grow. The Young and the Restless spoilers say it certainly seems like something is forming between Billy and Amanda.
There might be a full-blown affair on the horizon, or perhaps it will just be an emotional connection that the two will share. But whatever it is, it will be something that Victoria probably won’t appreciate when she finds out about it.
Billy seems to be able to sense that he’s got some sort of connection with Amanda – after all, he didn’t tell Victoria about being with Amanda during the storm and noted to himself that he felt guilty about the whole thing but didn’t really know why. Perhaps Billy was feeling a deep attraction to Amanda then but just didn’t consciously realize what was going on.
At any rate, it will be interesting to see what happens between Amanda and Billy. They seem to be good for each other, but their connection could threaten what Billy’s got with Victoria.
