The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 23, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will return home with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). After Adam asks to see a sleeping Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), Connor will awaken to an explanation. Adam will be sorry for leaving, but he’ll insist he truly thought his son would be better off.
Now that Adam knows he was wrong, he’ll assures Connor that he intends to stick around. Adam will want to be the dad Connor deserves. Connor will want to live with his father, but Adam will point out that’s Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Claire Egan) call. Once Chelsea gets on board, an excited Connor will dash off to gather up his belongings.
Nick won’t be pleased by Chelsea’s decision, but she’ll argue that it’s just temporary. Despite Nick’s disapproval, he’ll agree to back Chelsea up. Y&R spoilers say Chelsea will want to take Connor over to Adam’s penthouse alone. Connor will be in a hurry to leave, but Chelsea will force him to stop and bid Nick farewell.
At Adam’s place, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will use the Grand Phoenix security updates to snoop. She’ll be able to monitor her partners’ activities using the new software. Adam will interrupt Phyllis’ spying to kick her out. She’ll be glad that Connor’s going to live with Adam, although she’ll be surprised that Chelsea and Nick are allowing it.
Later, Connor will get settled in and play some videogames with his dad. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will assure Connor that he never stopped loving him. After Adam signs Connor’s cast, he’ll make it clear they’re going to stick together. Back with Chelsea, she’ll reconvene with Nick and argue that she had no choice. Chelsea will feel like she would’ve lost Connor forever if she didn’t cave in.
At the coffeehouse, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will catch up with her mom. She’ll get Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) chatting about work, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and ultimately Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Sharon will confess that Rey never followed up about another date, so she’ll assume he’s just not that interested.
After Rey interrupts, Mariah will come up with excuses to take off. That’ll leave Sharon and Rey to settle their date night plans. Mariah will eventually return to let Sharon know she could have a real shot at something with Rey. She’ll feel confident this “Shey” reunion is happening and will be a good thing for Sharon.
Over with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), she’ll bump into Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and make an admission. Due to all the will drama, Elena will confess she’s avoiding the penthouse. Once Devon sends text, Elena will head home along with Nate.
Meanwhile, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) will present their findings. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will join the discussion, but Jill still won’t believe Chance Chancellor is her client. Devon will be given the report that proves the pages are authentic. He’ll reel over the news, but Cane and Jill will promise Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) loved Devon. They’ll also acknowledge that nothing that can be done legally. The choice is a moral one – and it’s up to Devon.
After Cane and the others exit, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate and Elena will show up. Devon will fill them in and rant about Katherine giving her money to someone she wasn’t even related to. Of course, Devon never previously understood why he got the money either. He’ll struggle over what to do and wonder what Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) advice would be.
At Crimson Lights, Jill and Cane will mull over what’s just transpired. If Devon doesn’t give Cane his fortune, will Cane be able to let it go? That’s exactly what Jill will want to know. As for Phyllis, she’ll spot Amanda at the Grand Phoenix and reveal that they’re neighbors now. These two just might become fast friends, but maybe they should both watch their backs!
