The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 4, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will get his hands on Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) tablet. Naturally, he’ll have a nefarious goal in mind. Adam will summon Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and push her to hack into the device. He’ll want to access Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) medical records and unleash some chaos.
Phyllis will ultimately get on board and do what she’s told, so this shady alliance will indeed cause issues. Of course, it won’t be long until Nate notices his tablet is gone. He’ll suspect Adam took it, so he’ll quickly give Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) updates. That could give Abby a chance to warn Victor about the plot that’s brewing.
Regardless, Victor will have his eyes and ears open in Wednesday’s Y&R episode. He’ll start crafting a new defense strategy, so Adam’s initial plan may be thwarted. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam won’t give up and neither will Victor, so this war is sure to be a doozy of a fight.
Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will hope for peace with Summer Newman (Hunter King). They’ve shared some nice moments lately and have decided to take steps toward friendship. However, they’ll need to have a chat about their working relationship soon.
On Tuesday, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) decides to leave town for a while and figure out what he’s missing. He puts Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in charge as interim CEO while he’s gone. As a result, Kyle will have to step up and spread the word on Wednesday. Since he’ll be running the show at Jabot, he’ll be delivering plenty of assignments to Summer. Kyle will hope that’s not going to be a problem, and Summer will assure him it won’t be.
Although Summer has lingering feelings for Kyle, she’s accepted that it’s over – at least for now. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle and Summer will become a good team at Jabot again, but Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) won’t approve. Old feelings of jealousy and insecurity could creep in whether they’re warranted or not. Lola’s definitely going to offer an objection or two as time goes on.
