Randy writes a story about Axe’s trip to Yonkers, Chuck sees the story while he is having breakfast with his dad. He asks his dad to suit up and help him destabilize Axe.

Axe is in the office, Wendy asks him into a room, Taylor is there. Axe says he is sorry to Taylor that she is in snowflake mode and her save the earth play made him a bigger score with big old rock oil. She tells him that what he did do is mess up the bigger score. She gives him a list of colleges and universities with endowments that were right for divestment, the first wave had a potential haul of 8.8 billion, all un-gettable now that the pitch is ruined as Axe made them look like greedy opportunistic hypocrites. Wendy says that it comes down to poor communication and alignment, which they are both to blame.

Wendy tells Taylor that she could have trusted Axe and told him the entire play. She tells the two that a unified team is stronger than each other alone. And the question is, what are they going to do about this now. Wendy says they should play it as an activist move. Taylor says she will do it, Axe agrees. Taylor leaves the room, Axe tells Wendy that she undressed him in front of a junior, he is not impressed. She tells him that she had no choice.

She asks him to come to her class, allow the children to ask him questions. He says to be there for questions, would be like a root canal. She then asks to sit in on his class, he says yes.

In his class, Chuck gets a hard time from the students for his tough tactics. Catherine stands up and tells them off, and reminds them that they are standing in front of a brilliant lawyer and should be thankful for the opportunity.

Axe and Wendy are sitting at the table, sharing dinner together. He tells her that she was right in the meeting with Taylor, he sees the wisdom of it now. Axe tells her about Savion, how meeting him made an impact in his life. Then he tells her that Tanner is not working, he seems to have painters block. She says she will talk to him. Axe tells her that this, is so much better with Chuck out of the picture, she agrees, less complicated. Wendy tells him that she should get back to the kids.

The next day, Wendy goes to see Tanner. He says the vision is in his head right now, but it’s going to be kick-ass. Wendy walks close to Tanner, she stares at Tanner. She asks him why is he scared out of his mind. She asks him if he is suffering from imposter syndrome. Before she leaves, he tells her that he can’t get the feeling ever since he signed the contract. He says he is having a hard time being a sell-out.

He says the money has got to his head. Whenever he works, he doesn’t think of the buyer and now he can just think of what Axe is going to think. She says obviously someone in his life made him feel like a disappointment. Wendy tells him to close his eyes, she tells him to visualize himself on the other side, confident, successful and that everything turned out ok, see the effort it took him to get there. Now, she tells him, go create the painting.

Franklin goes to see Kate and brings her a house warming gift. He tells her that he is working with Axe over the Yonkers project. She tells him that Axe is using him as a pawn. He says no matter what, it is good for an underprivileged neighborhood. Kate warns that Axe will do away with him when he no longer needs him.

They shake hands and as Prince is leaving, Chuck tells him to think about it.

Taylor calls Mafee to her office, she tells him that she would like him to start sitting on the floor, for intel. Then she asks why he picked her out of all the applicants, he says she was the only one that didn’t seem bored, someone that he could learn from even though he was teaching, and there was no doubt that she is a winner.

Taylor goes to see Wendy and tells her that she needs to learn how to win again. Wendy tells her to focus on the process.

Chuck Sr. is speaking to the Yonkers officials, his speech doesn’t go off that well. Mr. Prince is next, he tried to focus on keeping the kids off the streets, and he has brought a special guest, Mark Carparello, a former town councilor from Sandicott, where Axe made similar financial inroads to the community. Mark says it didn’t go well, there were a lot of promises made, but their town suffered because of Axe. Last, it is Axe’s turn to talk. He starts by saying what happened in Sandicott, he says it is Chuck Sr.’s fault because he pulled the casino from there.

Axe says this time it is different, this is home. Chuck Sr. walks out and calls this b.s. Axe asks the panel if they can take this outside, they say yes. Everyone heads outside and Axe gives them a walk down memory lane. Prince rolls his eyes, he knows he is being defeated. Then Axe introduces Savion, he tells everyone that he and Savion were born there and the thought of an outsider coming in, is wrong.
