Axe is having dinner with Tanner, Wendy, Wags, and friends. Axe keeps looking over at Tanner and Wendy when they look at each other gives those little intimate touches. Axe tells Tanner that he wants to drop by tomorrow to see the work he has been doing, Tanner says he is not ready.
Wags addressed new graduates. He tells them that courage is a must. They have a task, they are going out as a cabinet maker and have to make a case against the secretary-treasurer.
Axe’s staff ask him what is going to happen if they get the bank charter. He says it is not his problem. Then he tells them to change is scary and it is going to be better for all of them, well maybe not all of them.
Chucks’ young interns say that the task seems super targeted. He tells them that they have been very fortunate in their young lives, but they have never stood in front of the judge and jury naked. He tells them a story, and they all turn around and go back to work.
Axe goes out to see his team and makes demands, he took some type of upper and shares it with his team. Some are in, some are out.
Prince gets a visit from Wendy, Taylor, and Lauren. Taylor tells him that they will listen to him, but not sure if they are on board yet. Prince says they need to re-source the tin, Taylor doesn’t want to be noisy about and wants a year-long transition plan. Prince says they sell the board on it and slow down orders. Taylor says in theory if this doesn’t leak to the press. Prince asks about board members leaking to the press. Prince wants them to profile the board members to see who might crack. Prince says he knows they said they are all not in, but it feels like they are going in the same direction. Taylor and Wendy say ok.
Chuck calls Pete to his office. He tells him he needs help with a certain family’s kidney condition. He goes on to say it is his father, he wants him on the list. Pete says it is a long list. Chuck says if he can move him up the list, he wants him to help locate a donor. Pete says he has a guy, he is a doctor, and he can find him an organ. He tells Chuck it is five thousand up front.
Axe’s team is on fire, and he loves it.
Chuck meets the doctor that Pete referred to him. He gives Chuck an outlook on how things will go down to get his father his kidney. The doctor tells him that he has a little girl from El Salvador that is match and for $38,000 she will sell her kidney.
Pene tells Wendy and Taylor that he has changed his mind, he applies the five years fifty-foot test, he looks at the decisions from above and from the future. No slow transition, they can’t go another day with the company buying conflict minerals. The story will leak, as it always does. He tells them that he doesn’t expect them to take the bumpy ride with them. Pence says they can share, or if they don’t trust him, they can buy him out. Taylor and Wendy say they are both in this and don’t want to buy him out.
Chuck tells Kate to invite secretary Krakow over, he is in town. Chuck meets with him and says he wants to catch up. He tells him that he cannot confirm the investigation. Chuck tells him to trust no one, and stand up for his integrity. Krakow says he appreciates the warning.
The federal reserve bank of New York, there is a meeting, Krakow is there, and he is looking at everyone with suspicion. He stands up and says he won’t be a part of it, the black slapping. He tells Stan who is paying off for his seat, and he won’t go down with the ship because there is Coronavirus on it and it spreads. He says he will be a part of a criminal enterprise.
Wendy drops by to see Tanner, Ace calls her and asks if he made any progress. He tells her to take photos of what he has done and send it to him, she says no and to ask him himself.
Chuck tries to encourage the team to participate in the blood drive. Chuck admits to Kate that the blood drive was organized to find his father a donor that is a match. She warns him of his tactics and tells him that he is taking this a little too far.
Taylor finds out that Axe and his employees have taken a drug and she tells him that this wrong and is going to cause massive losses. He tells her to pull the plug. Then he runs out to tell his team to stop, don’t make any more trades.
Nobody in Chuck’s office was a match for his father.
Wags goes in to see Ace and show him a news report of Tom Krakow, he bounced out of his position. Wags says he was fired by the White House, including Axe’s national bank charter. Axe says they are back to square one, and tells Wags to enlist Victor to get things going again.
Tanner is surprised when people show up at his gallery for a viewing party, Axe made all the arrangements.
Chuck calls the doctor, tells him that he needs the kidney for his dad, and is prepared to pay for it.
At the party, Axe gets a drink and walks around for the show. Wendy walks up to him and asks if he is enjoying himself, he says yes. Wendy says it looks like a party for one.
Wags and Axe sit down for a drink after the showing. Taylor comes in and tells them that what could be solved has been solved. There will be exposed from the sell-offs, they will manage that. Axe thanks her. Taylor tells Axe that she and Wendy took a risk and worked with Price. Axe is upset, he doesn’t like it. Axe says he played her into taking a loss and now it will show on his sheet. Axe says this is a sneak attack from Prince and he won’t see it any differently.
Axe tells wags to find out what is near and dear to Prince because when he finds out, he is going to destroy it and him right along with it.
