The family is now talking by video and social distancing given the pandemic. It is Abbie’s birthday. John is baking her cake to make it special. It has to be gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free. Abbie records his baking. It is a challenge. Meanwhile, the sisters are tying balloons to their cars to hold a parade for Abbie. They even plan to drop gifts. Birthdays are a big deal so this year is tough for them all. Jessa can see how Jinger must feel now since she is so far from them.

John continues to bake the cake while the family makes their way to the house. Jim honks as they pull up in their cars. Abbie hears them. They all head outside. Abbie smiles and laughs as they leave gifts and yell happy birthday. Later, John sings her happy birthday while she holds her cake and blows out the candles. She loves the cake.

Jana and some of the kids sit and sewn masks. She teaches them how to sewn and iron. She thinks they are doing well amid the pandemic. It has been hard not being able to see one another.

In Los Angeles, Jinger is organizing clothes they no longer need to send to the family. Jinger sees all of her daughter’s little clothes and cannot believe how much she has grown. She knows though that the sisters could all use little girl’s clothes right now.

Jessa calls her mom to tell her how Ivy has been taking some steps. She thinks it might be fun for the grandparents to see her through the window. Later, the family arrives at Jessa’s and watches Ivy through the window. Spurgeon encourages her to walk. After, the kids are sad to see the rest if their family leave.

Jana and the kids leave to deliver masks to everyone. At Joy and Austin’s, they drop the masks on the front door. The dog grabs the bag and tries to run off. Joy comes out laughing. All of the couples are happy to get the masks.

The entire family video chats. Jinger shares that she is 13 weeks along. The family goes crazy. Jinger and Jeremy thought it would be fun to guess the gender and play a game. All of the couples get a task. While the video is still running, all of the separate houses run around trying to find toys and more that is the correlating color to the gender they think it might be.

After, Jinger and Jeremy start counting votes at the big house. They then count votes at Jessa’s, then Austin’s, and so on. Most think they are having a girl. Jinger and Jeremy then reveal the gender by kicking a soccer ball filled with powder. Jeremy kicks it – it is pink!

Justin joins the video chat from Texas. He brings Claire onto the video to tell the family they are in a relationship. The family is very happy. Even though they cannot be together, they are happy to be able to chat by video and are all excited to see what the year will bring.

THE END!
