Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) is headed back to the show and should become part of the story again by November. Although Gabi and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) won’t move forward with their romance immediately, they’ll get there sooner or later.
DOOL spoilers confirm Jake and Gabi’s relationship will eventually get back on track, so we’re hoping for a wedding down the road! Naturally, we want to see their first official date and all the other fun milestones that lead up to it. It’s important to go on Gabi and Jake’s romantic journey with them.
However, Jake and Gabi have an intense connection they won’t be able to contain for long. It makes sense for Days to move this romance along at a speedy pace once it really kicks off.
Gabi’s romance with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) moved along quickly, too. Many Days of Our Lives fans are rooting for Jake and Gabi’s bright future, so here are three reasons they should marry in 2021.
1) Gabi needs a real wedding with the works
Gabi was still playing Stefan when she married him – and it was just a rushed “ceremony” in the DiMera living room. It wasn’t the real wedding we have in mind for Gabi. Neither was Gabi’s failed wedding to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), which was a disaster in so many ways.
It’s true that Gabi’s made massive mistakes, but she still deserves love and happiness like any other lonely Salemite. It’d be great for Gabi to have a genuine, gorgeous wedding – complete with some interruption karma of course!
2) Jake would be fun husband
Jake would no doubt be a fun husband, so we’re eager to see how he might react to married life. Although Jake isn’t really a cuddly teddy bear, he definitely has a softer side. It’s easy to imagine Jake softening even more as a devoted hubby. Jake might become the kind of guy who makes breakfast in bed for Gabi and dotes on her in his own awkward way.
3) Stefan’s complicated shadow
There’d also be the potential for drama since Gabi might feel like she was betraying Stefan by marrying his twin brother. It’d be interesting to watch Gabi wrestle with that before her big day.
Even after the nuptials, Jake might feel insecure. He’ll always have to live in Stefan’s shadow in a way, so a wedding could set up some complications and some good obstacles to overcome.
