Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that some looming exits could shake up an important storyline. DOOL fans know Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) has stirred up plenty of drama since she showed up pregnant. Allie has decided to give her baby up for adoption and has been adamant that she won’t change her mind. However, Allie’s plan and backup plan could easily fall through!
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is Allie’s top pick to be her baby’s adoptive father, but Days spoilers say major Hernandez family drama’s in store. If there’s danger involved in Eduardo Hernandez’s (A Martinez) upcoming return, you can bet Rafe will turn Allie’s offer down.
Of course, Rafe may turn it down anyway since Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) will be so against the idea. It also hasn’t been that long since Rafe lost David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends), so his heart hasn’t even had time to heal. In other words, there are tons of reasons for Rafe to pass on raising this baby.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe will be exiting by the end of August or so, which makes it less likely that he’ll take this newborn baby with him. There just doesn’t seem like enough time for everything to play out. It’d be weird for Rafe to just take the baby and bail – giving Allie no chance whatsoever to be part of her child’s life.
Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) would happily step up as backup daddies, but their exits are looming as well. Will and Sonny will be leaving around the same time as Rafe – and Days buzz hints it’s not exactly a happy ending sendoff. It sounds like real trouble’s on the horizon, so Allie may lose all her potential adoptive parents.
Although Allie could give her baby up through an adoption agency, she seems committed to knowing for sure this child would have a good home. Allie would clearly prefer to have someone she knows and loves raising this kid.
The problem is Allie will be running out of options! Could Allie get desperate and ask one more couple if they’re willing to adopt her baby?
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) have been tied to Allie’s pregnancy story from the moment she hit town again. Allie showed up on Uncle Eric’s doorstep because she thought he’d know what to do and could help.
Eric has indeed given Allie some great advice and so has Nicole. They’ve been like fill-in parents in a way – kinder, more supportive ones that Allie’s actual parents! Perhaps Allie will eventually ask Eric and Nicole if they’d be interested in adopting her child. Allie might think her kid would be the perfect brother or sister for Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander).
Naturally, that doesn’t mean Nicole and Eric would agree. Although it’d be an interesting story for “Ericole” to add a baby to their family with Holly, they might opt out because of Sami. Eric and Nicole might also feel that deep down, Allie wants to keep her child. Maybe Nicole and Eric could convince Allie that she doesn’t have to be so afraid of motherhood.
