Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will try to strike a deal with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), but the decision will ultimately land in Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) hands.
Ava loves Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and would do just about anything for him, so she’ll hope Kayla feels the same way about her own son, Joey Johnson (James Lastovic).
DOOL fans know Joey is currently behind bars for Ava’s murder, but she’s alive and well. That means Joey will no longer be on the hook for killing Ava, but he still tried to. Ava could press new attempted murder charges and keep Joey locked up.
Of course, that’s not what Kayla will want. Once Kayla discovers Ava survived, she’ll be determined to get Joey out of prison. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ava will be willing to let that happen on one condition.
Since Ava’s wanted on charges in Kayla’s kidnapping, she’ll expect Kayla to drop those and allow her to go free.
It’ll be a pretty sweet deal as far as Ava’s concerned. Kayla will simply be trading Joey’s freedom for Ava’s. Although Kayla won’t love the idea of Ava roaming around and tormenting her family again, this decision won’t be a hard one.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla will barely even have to think about it at all.
Joey will be Kayla’s priority, so she’ll just have to deal with whatever Ava has up her sleeve. DOOL viewers will see Kayla agree to Ava’s deal, so Ava will keep her freedom and Joey will be granted his own.
Days spoilers say Kayla and Steve will eventually head to Statesville, where they’ll give Joey updates. Joey will get a heartfelt reunion with his parents as he’s finally allowed to go.
There’ll be a real sense of joy and relief for Joey once he finds out he didn’t kill Ava. Joey will get a fresh start, so he’ll hope to make the most of it.
As for Steve and Kayla, they’ll still have some big problems to tackle. There’s the matter of the continued conflict between them and the real story behind the assault Tripp was accused of.
Kayla and Steve will also have to worry about Ava’s plot and her new bond with Tripp, so this Joey bliss won’t last!
