Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) bond with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will grow stronger in the coming weeks. That bond could be incredibly important once the truth about Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) comes out.
DOOL fans know Charlie was the man who assaulted Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), not Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). One way or another, that shocker will come to light – and it could leave Claire in serious danger. Here’s where things could get tricky for Ben.
There may be some situation where Ben has to step up and save Claire from Charlie’s evil clutches. However, Charlie could also be just the person to bring out Ben’s dark side again. Days viewers saw that dark side when Ben went after Vincent Belman (Michael Teh), but Ben couldn’t pull the trigger in the end.
Vincent escaped with his life, but will Charlie be so lucky if he lands in a confrontation with Ben next? Ben knows all about how Chase Jennings (Jonathan McClendon) raped Ciara, so that could fuel Ben’s rage. There’s even a chance Ben will confuse Charlie for Chase in his own mind.
Ben hasn’t been himself since Ciara supposedly died, so there’s no predicting how he’ll handle a situation like this. Knowing Charlie is a rapist and someone who hurt Ciara’s bestie may bring out the worst in Ben – the darkest part of him.
It’s easy to imagine Ben trying to strangle Charlie – just like he tried to strangle Evan Frears (Brock Kelly) in the park over David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends). In that case, Days spoilers say Ben may fight to control the old necktie killer within.
Then again, it’s possible Charlie will mistakenly think he can hold his own in a Ben battle. If Charlie physically attacks Ben, it might provoke Ben’s fury in that moment and give him a self-defense excuse if things take a fatal turn.
Regardless, Ben won’t let Charlie get away with what he did to Allie or the pain his secrets have caused Claire. Charlie is feeling large and in charge when it comes to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), who’ll go back in restraints and remain her twisted son’s hostage for now.
