Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Phillip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will soon be returning to canvas to shake things up amongst the Kiriakis clan. This is an exciting development for loads of DOOL fans, who have been wondering whether Phillip’s appearance in the DOOL Digital Series “Last Blast Reunion” perhaps signaled a future return to the network show. Now fans will get to see Phillip back in action in Salem!
Phillip will be returning to the fold at an interesting time. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will need all the allies he can get after what he did in perpetrating the baby swap that has left many in his family furious with him.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is livid with Victor and he’s secretly planning on destroying Titan Industries as a means of getting revenge. Of course, that means that Brady will be messing with Phillip’s legacy, so Phillip may have something to say about this.
There’s probably a good chance that Phillip and Brady will find themselves at odds over the direction in which Brady takes Titan. But they could also clash over something else as well.
Both Brady and Phillip have been romantically involved with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), which could cause some friction, especially since there’s a possibility that Phillip and Chloe have been together in the recent past.
DOOL viewers who watched the “Last Blast Reunion” know that sparks flew between Phillip and Chloe. During the reunion, both Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Chloe reminisced about their high-school days and their romances with Phillip over the years, but in the end, it was Phillip and Chloe who decided to see each other going forward and see where that took them.
One wonders exactly what’s been going on between Phillip and Chloe off-screen, and whether they’ve become a serious couple again. We should note that Chloe is coming back to Salem this autumn, so that could be a sign that she’ll ultimately return in order to be with Phillip.
It could be a situation in which Phillip arrives in Salem first – perhaps to see Victor since he’s just been stabbed – then decides to stay, with Chloe coming later.
If indeed there’s already tension between Brady and Phillip, and then Chloe comes back to town and stands firmly beside Phillip, that could cause some problems.
It wasn’t that long ago that Brady was making romantic overtures to Chloe before she left town the last time, and he might not appreciate or approve of her being involved with Phillip again.
We’ll see what happens here, but we’d say that chances are pretty good that Chloe and Phillip have gotten together since the “Last Blast Reunion.” Do you think Chloe and Phillip have lasting couple potential?
