Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers has some exciting news to pass on about a popular former soap star. Chrishell Stause, who portrayed Jordan Ridgeway on the NBC soap, has joined the Season 29 cast of Dancing With The Stars. Chrishell will be a contestant on DWTS, and that’s sure to make fans of DOOL very happy.
As viewers will remember, Chrishell’s run on Days of Our Lives came to an abrupt end when her character Jordan was murdered by her ex, Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly).
Interestingly, Evan its headed back to DOOL this autumn, which is fueling fire about whether Jordan may not really be dead. DOOL fans will have to wait and see what happens here, but there are plenty of fans who would love to see Chrishell somehow be able to reprise the role of Jordan.
We should note that in recent months, Chrishell has been enjoying the success of her Netflix real estate reality show, Selling Sunset, which is now into its third season. Given the success of Selling Sunset, it’s not too surprising that Chrishell is about to take a turn on DWTS.
Chrishell has also made headlines in recent months due to her high-profile split from Justin Hartley (ex-Adam Newman, Y&R). She seems like the perfect person to compete on DWTS, and she should carry a good following over to the show, which is undergoing some big changes.
As you might be aware, Season 29 of DWTS will now be hosted and executive produced by Tyra Banks, who has promised some big changes to the show. There was previously much speculation about who the new cast of dancing stars would be, and we now have a clearer picture of what the landscape will look like.
Chrishell will join Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean, Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe, actress and former Another World star Anne Heche, actor and former Passions star Jesse Metcalfe, and NFL player Vernon Davis.
Several of the contestants were seen entering the dance studio on Saturday, according to The Daily Mail, and it appeared that Chrishell will be partnered with professional dancer Gleb Savchenko.
