Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that the NBC soap is already laying the groundwork for a new rivalry. DOOL fans know Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) has a tendency to spar over men.
In the past, it’s been Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) who Claire’s fought with. Both Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) have been at the center of bitter battles between Claire and Ciara.
Of course, Ciara’s set to exit Days of Our Lives, so that means Claire’s going to need another rival. Claire’s been focusing on her recovery and trying to stay on a better path, but that can’t last forever. Sooner or later, Claire will have to slide back into her old scheming habits.
In some ways, Claire’s already been screwing up by keeping major secrets. Claire’s latest one involves covering for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), which brings us to that new rivalry we mentioned. Before Allie took off, she shared some sweet moments with Claire. Days viewers will recall how Claire listened and supported Allie.
Claire even handed over all the cash she had on her and pushed Allie to get in touch once she was settled. They had a nice chat about how they would’ve been closer if they’d been able to spend more time together.
The good news is Claire and Allie will have a chance to bond since Allie’s headed back to Salem soon. The bad news is Allie and Claire’s bond could be destroyed just as fast! Since Days buzz suggests Tripp is Allie’s “baby daddy,” there’s serious potential for drama here.
It’s also possible Tripp’s behind the wedding sabotage – meaning he’s the one who framed Claire with the nail polish covered wedding gown and the stolen engagement ring. However, Claire’s certainly in no position to judge Tripp for that. Since Claire’s made her fair share of mistakes and found forgiveness, she could easily forgive Tripp, too.
Allie and Tripp might connect over their baby down the road, which could deliver the same old jealous Claire we’re used to seeing. It’s easy to imagine Allie and Claire fighting over Tripp – especially since DOOL insiders insist Tripp’s indeed coming back.
Regardless, Claire’s more fun when she’s stirring up trouble! We should see more of Claire’s troublemaking side down the road, so that’s something to look forward to. We’ll pass along updates as other DOOL details emerge.
