Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a major bombshell will affect how Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) view Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams).
DOOL viewers know Claire was apologetic when she first reconnected with Tripp. There was a nice moment between them that made Claire wonder if there was a chance at recapturing their old spark.
Of course, that was before Allie saw Tripp and ultimately made assault accusations. That was all it took to turn Claire against Tripp, which is understandable under the circumstances. It’s only natural for Claire to believe her cousin and support Allie as a victim.
That’s especially true when you consider Tripp’s sometimes shady history and the DNA evidence. There’s no reason for Claire to doubt Tripp’s guilt at this point – and there’s certainly no reason for Allie to.
However, Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that everything will change once Tripp’s name is fully cleared.
Sooner or later, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) will probably be revealed as a long-lost relative of Tripp’s – and the man who raped Allie that night in London. Charlie may even be Allie’s ex-boyfriend since he alluded to making mistakes in prior relationships and misreading signals from other women.
Claire and Charlie’s romance has been doomed from the start, but the truth will free Claire up for other love interests down the road. Since Claire was already feeling familiar feelings for Tripp before Allie accused him, those feelings may come back even stronger.
Claire will once again be apologetic for how she treated Tripp and will inevitably want to bond with him again. On some level, Claire may feel like she should’ve known Tripp wasn’t guilty.
She’ll inevitably feel bad about falling for Charlie’s nice guy act as well, so Claire should be a bit of a mess.
That brings the opportunity for Tripp to reassure Claire and comfort her. Claire and Tripp could be on the verge of a reunion, but not so fast! We can’t forget about Allie, who’ll also be apologetic over the confusion once Tripp is cleared.
It definitely isn’t Allie’s fault, but that won’t stop her from being sorry for how all this went down.
There’s the potential for Allie and Tripp to bond, too – and that could lead to an intriguing love triangle with Claire. Days spoilers say Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will remain tied to Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) through visions until she hopefully returns.
Although a Ben and Claire pairing is a possibility, that might be something Days pumps the brakes on for a while.
If so, this Claire, Tripp and Allie love triangle may get the green light. Once it’s confirmed that Tripp isn’t the monster they think he is, both Allie and Claire may gain a new perspective. Do you think Claire and Allie will end up vying for Tripp’s affection eventually?
