Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) will return to Salem by late summer, but it doesn’t look like she’ll bring an EJ DiMera recast with her. There’s been no word on Days casting a new actor just yet, but it seems likely they will at some point.
EJ was probably burned beyond recognition according to Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), so they’ve got the perfect setup for a new face. The question is: When will EJ come back to Days of Our Lives? It’s just a matter of when the show will pull the trigger and let EJ make his long-awaited return.
Once the COVID-19 aka coronavirus crisis dies down and everyone gets back on set, that’ll bring an opportunity for some new beginnings. We could see some story adjustments and major comebacks after that.
Since DOOL’s older actors may not be able to film much, the show may rely on the younger players more and tweak their stories accordingly.
That could mean bringing back characters who have already filmed exits or perhaps putting some new faces in the mix – like debuting a brand-new look for EJ. Whatever the case, it’d be nice to see EJ back in Salem.
EJ’s a fantastic character who’s got just the right amount of DiMera swagger. His pairing with Sami is a popular one, so it’d be exciting to see an “EJami” reunion on our screens.
Of course, Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) are another popular romance. Since Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) is most likely lying about his true identity, he may be revealed as Stefan down the road.
Wouldn’t it be great to have “Stabi” and “EJami” battling it out as steamy DiMera powercouples? Just think of all the Days drama that would bring!
We’d have Sami and Gabi as fierce DiMera wives at war. There’s also be the potential for an excellent brother battle between Stefan and EJ. They could all fight for control of DiMera Enterprises along with bragging rights. It sounds like a winning storyline that would convince plenty of Days fans to tune in.
