Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, August 28, tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will feel backed into a corner. Thanks to Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) and the threat he’s brought to his family, Gabi and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) are being forced out of town.
Of course, Gabi’s putting up a fight, so it’ll be up to Rafe and Eduardo to convince her of how serious this is.
Eduardo will likely bring up all the same arguments he brought up with Rafe. There’s already been an attempt on Dario Hernandez’s (Jordi Vilasuso) life, so that should help Gabi understand what’s at stake.
Even so, Gabi will wonder how she’s supposed to just leave Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) and never look back. Gabi will have a serious problem with abandoning her daughter.
However, going on the run is better than dying and leaving Ari without a mother permanently. There may be concerns about Arianna’s safety since she’s Eduardo’s granddaughter, but Gabi might admit Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) want to take Ari to Phoenix.
Eduardo, Rafe and Gabi may agree it’d be best to distance Ari from the situation by having her leave with her daddies. In the end, Gabi will decide she has no choice but to leave Salem behind. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe and Gabi will go with Eduardo, but the Hernandez siblings will return to DOOL this fall.
In the meantime, Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) will fly into a rage. After Gwen caught Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) in bed with Gabi, she was in denial about the reason why.
Gwen tried to convince herself that Jake hooked up with Gabi for revenge, but Jake insisted that wasn’t the case. He refused to beg for another chance since he now knows he has to break up with Gwen.
Days spoilers say Gwen will blast Jake for playing games with her heart. She may tell Jake to just go enjoy his precious Gabi, but Jake will be out of luck since Gabi’s leaving Salem for now!
Over with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), he’ll be hauled down to the police station. Ben just broke down in tears – clearly believing he killed Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal).
Since Ben recalled the moment right before he supposedly strangled Ciara, he seemingly thinks he went through with it. At the Salem PD, Ben will have a run-in with Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). That’ll bring a fierce faceoff as Ben lashes out over what Eve made him do.
Fortunately, Ciara isn’t dead – and new memories should eventually point Ben in the right direction. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara is actually being held hostage by Vincent (Michael Teh), so look for her to pop up again next week. As other Days news comes in, we’ll pass along more updates.
