Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, September 4, tease that Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) will try to make Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) feel sorry for her. Gwen will have a little pity party over the situation with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and hope Chad will show compassion.
Chad recently agreed to let Gwen stay at the DiMera mansion despite Jake pushing her to leave, so Chad does have sympathy on some level.
Even so, Chad knows how Gwen operates and may think she needs to own up to her destructive tendencies. Later, Chad’s in for a shock when a familiar face walks in.
Days spoilers say Marci Miller will make her long-awaited return as Abigail DiMera, so Chad will be thrown for a loop. Abigail didn’t tell anyone she was coming home from her treatment facility, so this will be a total surprise.
At the Salem Inn, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will scold Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) for taking such a huge risk. Kristen has a bad habit of sneaking back to Salem when she shouldn’t, so Brady will let her have it on Friday’s DOOL episode. Since Kristen’s a fugitive, Brady will warn that she could get arrested.
Kristen will insist she had to be there for Brady during John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) medical crisis. She may promise to be careful, but what about Rachel DiMera Black? Brady’s bound to ask where Rachel is, so Kristen may assure him that their daughter’s in good hands.
When Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) returns to the apartment he shares with Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers), he’ll be stunned by what he finds. Lani will be babysitting Rachel, so Eli will wonder what Lani’s doing with Kristen DiMera’s child!
Lani could get in big trouble for helping Kristen, but she’ll once again refuse to turn her back on a friend. Once Eli realizes this argument’s going nowhere, he’ll join the babysitting fun. Eli and Lani will have a practice run of what it’ll be like when they have a kid that age.
Of course, Lani and Eli will ultimately have one more since Lani’s expecting twins! For now, Days spoilers say Lani and Eli will just look forward to the inevitable baby drama ahead.
Meanwhile, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will grow concerned about an intruder in their home.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla and Steve will be taken aback when they realize that intruder is actually Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). Steve will welcome his son home and become curious about the reason for this visit.
It turns out Tripp plans to finish his last year of medical school in Salem, but he won’t reveal that until next week. We’ll pass along updates as other DOOL news rolls in.
