Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) recently revealed some crucial details about his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Gwen (Emily O’Brien). Jake told Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) that he had a huge fight with Gwen and left in a huff. When Jake came back later, Gwen had cleaned the place out – and that included taking a valuable item stolen from “the family.”
We also know Gwen’s at Bayview, so she’s clearly unwell mentally in some way. That sounds about right based on Jake’s previous description of her. The fact that Gwen’s at Bayview is a huge tipoff that she’s going to come unhinged. It’s not like Gwen’s going to check out and become a model citizen of Salem!
However, Gwen will indeed score her release, and it’ll most likely be because of this valuable item she has. Jake stole it as a bargaining chip, but it seems poised to become Gwen’s bargaining chip instead.
If Jake wants this valuable item back, he may have to give Gwen what she wants in return – and we’re willing to bet Gwen wants her freedom and another chance with Jake.
The freedom part may not be so difficult if Gwen committed herself voluntarily. Even if Gwen isn’t there by choice, Jake can probably figure something out. Days fans know Gabi DiMera’s (Camila Banus) life depends on it, so Jake may work hard to something in the works. If Jake can prove that Gwen’s release is happening, that might satisfy her.
What about giving Gwen another chance? How will Jake feel about that? DOOL viewers have heard Jake open up to Ben about his former flame before. Assuming that was a description of Gwen, Jake still seems to miss her. Gwen drove Jake crazy sometimes, but he also had very passionate feelings for her.
Gabi’s bound to think Gwen’s some second-rate version of the queen! Days of Our Lives spoilers say their similar personalities are only going to intensify their upcoming feud.
Even so, Jake might agree to try again with Gwen – both due to her leverage and because part of him still wants her. Jake may stay true to his word, but he’s only going to face the same old problems with his ex.
Then again, Jake may just pretend he’s back together with Gwen. He might keep up the charade for a bit until he can argue that they tried and still aren’t a good match. Either way, Gwen isn’t going to be pleased when her reunion crashes and burns! Days spoilers hint that Gwen may prove she’s one dangerous woman down the road.
