Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that many fans might have questions thanks to a recent big reveal. A flashback showed Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) glaring across the room at Julie’s Place, where Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was about to order a bottle of bubbly. That was the night Abigail was drugged and began having terrible hallucinations.
DOOL fans can expect Gwen to try and finish the job according to Days of Our Lives spoilers. After Abigail lashes out over Gwen and Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) kiss, Gwen will explain the context and attempt to patch things up.
Since Abby’s learned by now to keep your friends close and your enemies closer, she’ll be willing to move past Gwen’s actions. That’s when Gwen will suggest a celebratory drink.
When Abigail isn’t looking, Gwen will once again drug her beverage – undoubtedly in hopes of sending Abby back to that treatment facility in Florida. Fortunately, Chad will walk in and distract Abigail before she can take a sip.
There’s a good chance Gwen won’t give up, but what are her motives here? Why did Gwen drug Abigail and then land at Bayview with Claire Brady (Isabel Durant)?
Gwen claimed she wanted to hide out from Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash), so she faked a breakdown to get herself admitted. However, Gwen could’ve holed up in a motel somewhere.
It seems like Gwen picked Bayview for a reason – and that reason may have been Claire. It’s probably not a coincidence that Gwen befriended Ciara’s niece, especially since Claire tried to murder her.
Days probably intends to tie everything together by connecting Vincent to Gwen. They’re both British and have dark hair, so there may be a family link. There’s no record of Vincent having any children according to Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) – and Gwen would probably be a tad too old to be his daughter anyway.
A sister, on the other hand, is totally plausible.
Is Gwen helping Vincent avenge Wendy Taylor’s (Denice Duff) death? Vincent seemed almost angry with Abigail for putting his midwife fiancée in Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) path.
There’s also the matter of Gwen seeking out Claire – and the original wedding saboteur who’s still unaccounted for. Perhaps Gwen was already targeting Ciara for Vincent well in advance of the wedding.
Of course, Gwen genuinely seems to love Jake, but that may not have always been the case! Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) was probably a job for Gwen initially – someone to monitor and manipulate.
We can’t forget that Vincent is Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) protégé. Dr. Rolf is a loyal DiMera doctor, so there’s a DiMera connection between Vincent and Gwen to really seal the deal.
