Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will get some help in his search for answers. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will assist Shawn as they seek the truth about Vincent (Michael Teh), Eve Donovan’s (Kassie DePaiva) accomplice in the Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) brainwashing scheme. By the end of this investigation, Shawn and Jack will face a major Vincent bombshell.
There are some interesting clues we can pick up on right off the bat. For starters, it certainly sounds like a story collision is coming up. Jack isn’t going to be randomly inserted into Ben and Ciara Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) hot plot.
Jack connects to this in his own way, so there has to be an Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) link here.
After Abigail returns on September 4, she’ll catch up with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and mull over a mystery. On September 8, Chad and Abigail will do their best to figure out who drugged Abby.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say this mystery may not unravel instantly, but DOOL will start putting some puzzle pieces together. It’s probably no coincidence that Jack and Shawn will figure out this Vincent shocker on September 8, too.
Perhaps as Chad and Abigail are mulling things over, Shawn and Jack will realize Vincent had access to the unreleased DiMera drug as Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) protégé. That’s one piece of the puzzle, but it may not be the whole picture.
After all, Vincent is a master of mind control. Why would Vincent drug Abigail himself when he could just brainwash someone into doing it for him?
That’s especially true since Vincent could’ve used a guinea pig like Chad for this Ben plan. Vincent needed to see if he could brainwash someone into hurting his own wife.
If Chad drugged Abigail while under Vincent’s mind control, it could’ve paved the way for Ben and Ciara’s story.
Then again, Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) is a wild character who’s capable of troubling things. Days spoilers say Gwen has an agenda along with some big secrets that are set to be revealed.
Gwen will take an interest in Abigail and will try to form a friendship with her in the coming weeks. We’ll see Gwen become quite invested in sticking around the DiMera mansion – and her true reasons won’t be exposed immediately.
If Gwen’s been up to no good from the get-go, maybe she’s secretly working with Vincent and was hired to drug Abigail.
Chad and Gwen seem like the top two contenders for Abigail’s drugging culprit, but we’ll see how it all plays out. In the meantime, let’s hope Shawn and Jack can keep uncovering shockers. They may blame Vincent for the drugging initially, but it sounds like there’s much more to the story.
