Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) plan may work even better than she expected. DOOL fans know Gwen’s been trying to make Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) believe Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) are having an affair.
Gwen knew going into this it’d be hard to pull off the real thing, but she felt like stirring up suspicions would be enough.
So far, Gwen’s scheme is working out well since Chad indeed grilled Abigail about having an affair with Jake. In fact, Chad took it a step further by acknowledging that it wouldn’t be the first or even second time Abigail slept with one of his brothers.
That really set Abigail off since Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) raped her. It wasn’t Abigail’s choice to sleep with Stefan at all.
As for EJ DiMera (James Scott), Abigail felt like it was uncalled for Chad to throw that in her face. Chad managed to cut some deep wounds with just one little statement.
We also know from a recent DOOL promo that Gwen will plant a kiss on Chad in the coming weeks. Chad and Gwen will be sitting on the bed looking all serious when it happens, so there are signs of more “Chabby’ trouble ahead.
That brings us to Jake, who’s falling hard for a woman who doesn’t even want to go public with him. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) is having fun with Jake, but Days of Our Lives spoilers say she seems poised to break his heart.
Since Jake rejected Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and chose Kate instead, that’ll double his sorrow.
Days spoilers hint that Jake may feel awfully alone once his romance with Kate inevitably falls apart. Although Kate isn’t Abigail’s favorite person, it’s Jake’s business who he goes to bed with. Better Jake than Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) anyway!
It’s easy to imagine Jake leaning on Abigail once Kate dumps him; he might insist he should’ve known after the way Kate hurt Abigail’s family. Likewise, Abigail may end up feeling like she should’ve listened to Jake’s warning about Gwen.
If Abigail realizes her nanny is going after her husband, she’ll have to rethink everything.
Will sparks actually fly for Jake and Abigail? Could Abigail betray Chad for real after he betrays her with Gwen? Even if Abigail and Jake don’t go all the way, we might see a steamy kiss.
Then again, maybe Jake and Abigail could truly hit the sheets – making Chad’s worst nightmare a reality!
