Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) has just gotten a big surprise. As viewers know, when the action left off last week, Gabi had just returned home to Salem and she wanted to find Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) asap.
Gabi wanted to make things right with Jake, with whom she had an intimate encounter before she left town several weeks ago. Well, Gabi promptly rushed down to Jake’s workshop where she encountered Jake in bed with Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow).
That’s going to make Gabi fume, and according to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Gabi will promptly blast Jake for moving right along with his life, telling him the whole story about how she didn’t really want to reject him before she left. That’s surely going to leave Jake stunned.
Well, it seems that Gabi will assume that Jake and Kate are simply having a meaningless fling, and that Jake will be able to put it aside pretty quickly to reunite with her. But things may not be that simple.
Jake and Kate have gotten pretty close, and it seems to be going beyond just a physical thing. As Days of Our Lives viewers will remember, Kate opened up to Jake about Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) predicament, and Jake offered some comforting words.
The whole thing really touched Kate, and it’s getting pretty clear that at least for Jake, he’s really starting to fall for Kate. Jake might be unwilling to just let his relationship with Kate go just because Gabi has come back.
Well, this will incense Gabi, who was determined to come back to Salem and rekindle things with Jake right away.
Plus, Gabi probably won’t approve of Jake having gotten involved with the likes of Kate. Gabi and Kate get along well enough most of the time, but Gabi’s not going to like being a romantic rival with Kate for Jake’s affections!
It will be interesting to see Gabi and Kate bicker over Jake – they could have quite a fight on their hands!
Or maybe Jake will nix the idea of Gabi and Kate fighting over him. Jake might just say that he can end the whole fight right now and that he’s fallen for Kate and wants her!
Of course, Kate might have other ideas – it doesn’t seem like Kate has fallen for Jake as much as Jake is into Kate. We’ll see what happens here, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Jake up and declares that he’s in love with Kate and wants her!
Of course, if that happens, then Gabi’s going to be mortified. Gabi’s not going to want to lose Jake to anyone, let alone Kate, so she might try wooing Jake away from Kate.
That would make for some humorous scenes – that is, if Jake’s still at all into Gabi. We suspect that Jake’s feelings for Kate are getting stronger by the minute, so he might just tell Gabi to take a flying leap!
