Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) are finally getting their romance back on track. It took a lot of hard work on Xander’s part to get here, but it’s worth it if Xander can have a future with Sarah.

Sarah and Xander will probably enjoy a few weeks of bliss, but what happens next? Days won’t just let Xander and Sarah live happily ever after. Since that’s the quickest way to the backburner, it’s important to keep the drama coming. Xander tends to be his own worst enemy, so will he manage to mess things up just as he fears?
Thankfully, Xander seems to have learned his lesson when it comes to over-the-top schemes like plotting to steal embryos and baby switching. It’s doubtful DOOL will let Xander screw up so massively this time around. Instead, there could be a simpler issue to cause conflict – something like jealousy.
Days spoilers say Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) return will make some waves in Salem. After Philip shows up at the Kiriakis mansion on August 18, Xander will lash out.
It seems likely that Philip will swoop in and steal Xander’s chance to run Titan Industries again. Will Xander worry about Philip swooping in and stealing Sarah, too?
Sarah has finally let her guard down and is willing to open her heart back up to Xander. It feels like Sarah’s all in on this reunion, but jealousy can sometimes be irrational. Just having Philip in Sarah’s orbit could make Xander suspicious and uncomfortable.
Of course, Philip could easily notice and use this to rile Xander up even further. That’s especially true if Xander tries to scheme his way back on the Titan throne.
Philip will likely want to keep that seat for himself, so he might hope to distract Xander with love life drama. Stirring up some jealousy in Xander might lead to unwarranted accusations and infuriate Sarah in the process.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah and Xander will need something else to fight about in the months ahead. A little drama is a good thing in the soap world since it keeps characters on screen. As long as Xander and Sarah are willing to work through it, any trouble Philip causes should be fun.
