Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will get a big surprise. As viewers are aware, Bonnie has had a bit of a crush on Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) for quite a while.
Ever since Justin decided to take Bonnie’s case against her predatory publisher, Bonnie has liked Justin as way more than a friend, but Justin has been very reluctant to even be friends with Bonnie, after what she did to Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) in the past.
Well, despite Justin’s reluctance to get close to Bonnie, it’s clear that he really likes her down deep.
In private, Justin seemed to like the cowboy hat that Adrienne got him as a present a while back, and he’s been sure to defend Bonnie to everyone who has grumped to him about spending time with the woman who impersonated Adrienne.
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Justin will soon take a big step forward, when he formally forgives Bonnie for her past misdeeds and crimes. We’ll see exactly what precipitates Justin’s decision to forgive Bonnie, but it seems that it will set the stage for a blossoming romance between the two.
Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) will notice that Bonnie seems gung-ho about pursuing Justin, so it looks like we may indeed be headed for a solid Justin/Bonnie pairing.
But we can’t help but think about what Adrienne would say about all of this. And who knows – we might just find out down the line.
While Adrienne’s death was shown on-screen in flashbacks, it’s always possible that she managed to survive via one of Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) injections, like the ones that saved Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel).
It would certainly be a very soapy situation if Justin and Bonnie finally got together and were happy, only to have Adrienne somehow return. Adrienne could fight her way back to Justin, only to find Justin and Bonnie as a couple. Adrienne would surely feel “replaced” by Bonnie…again!
We’ll see if Adrienne’s return ever comes to fruition, but we wouldn’t put it past TPTB to bring Adrienne back just as Bonnie has won over Justin and the rest of his family.
It’s really hard to imagine Adrienne being able to forgive Justin for forgiving Bonnie for what she did in the past. Plus, then Justin would potentially be in a position in which he had to choose between Bonnie and Adrienne!
It should be interesting to watch Justin and Bonnie get closer in the coming weeks. Do you think that Adrienne will eventually return once Justin finally gives into Bonnie?
