Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, December 21, tease that Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will stop by the cemetery and visit Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) grave. Justin will probably reflect on how much Adrienne loved Christmastime and family traditions.
He’ll wish Adrienne could be around for the holidays like she used to be, but he’ll do his best to keep moving forward.
Of course, Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will be a big part of that plan. Justin just has to make Bonnie understand that she’s the only woman he’s interested in.
Despite some recent hurdles, Justin will manage to clear things up when he runs into Bonnie outside the pub. Days spoilers say Bonnie and Justin will share a kiss, so their budding romance will get back on track.
In fact, Justin will invite Bonnie to come with him to the Kiriakis family’s holiday gathering. Bonnie may point out that she’s not Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) favorite person. Justin knows that, but he’s falling for Bonnie and will want her to be part of the celebration anyway.
Once Justin returns to the Kiriakis mansion with Bonnie on his arm, Victor and Maggie will indeed have some strong reactions. Maggie might try to hide her disdain, but Victor won’t hesitate to tell Bonnie exactly what he thinks of her.
Fortunately, all Bonnie really cares about is what Justin thinks – and he clearly thinks she’s pretty great.
Over with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), he’ll canoodle in private with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Xander and Sarah recently found out Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) secret partner in crime, but they need hard evidence if they want to bring Philip down.
For now, Sarah has to keep a charade going with Philip and make sure he doesn’t put his guard up.
Xander flipped out over the kiss Philip planted recently, but Sarah will offer reassurance on Monday’s DOOL episode. Sarah has no interest in Philip as anything other than an easy mark.
She’ll play along with Philip’s idea to drive Xander up the wall with a fake romance, but it’s Philip who’ll really be getting played here.
That’s because two can play at that game! Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will bump into Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and somehow talk her into attending the Kiriakis Christmas bash with him.
Xander will act like Chloe is his date once the holiday gathering gets underway. He’ll even try to kiss Chloe under the mistletoe since Philip will plant one on Sarah again.
However, Chloe won’t be receptive to Xander’s plans for a lip lock. She’ll eventually be cornered by Philip, who’s bound to wonder what’s going on here. Days spoilers say Chloe will end up having a sweet holiday scene with Philip, so it doesn’t look like Xander’s scheme will cause too much trouble.
At Statesville, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will be ecstatic over another visitor. DOOL fans know Kristen just shared some heartwarming moments with her brothers, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
Next, it’ll be Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) turn to pay Kristen a visit, but it may be a bittersweet one at first.
Since Kristen can’t be home with Brady and Rachel Black (Josephine and Rosalind May), Brady will deliver a present. He’ll hand over a childlike-looking snowman craft, so perhaps he helped Rachel make her mom a gift this year.
Kristen will love it, but she’ll also get emotional over being separated from Brady and their daughter this Christmas.
Luckily, there’s a way to be home for the holidays without really being home for the holidays! Days spoilers say Brady and Kristen will have a shared fantasy about what they’d do if Kristen were free.
Kristen and Brady will imagine being at the Kiriakis mansion with lovely Christmas decorations, including stockings for their whole family.
In this fantasy sequence, Maggie will do some dusting since she’ll be the maid. Victor will be the butler – though he’ll be his usual cranky self, even in fantasy mode. Xander will also be the gardener, so that’ll be a little nod to the past.
There’ll be some funny moments that are sure to lift Kristen’s spirits behind bars, and DOOL fans should enjoy these scenes as well.
