Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, October 19 Recap - Sarah Throws Xander Out of Bedroom - Marlena’s Mystery Call

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, October 19, reveal that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) decided to leave the hospital and go home, even though John was still very upset from his earlier interaction with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). John said that there was one stop he wanted to make first…the Brady Pub.

When Marlena and John arrived at the pub, it was closed, but Marlena went in and got Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) to fix them a quick burger.

Roman wondered what happened to John’s hand, and John started to tell Roman about Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rape allegation, but Marlena stepped in and came up with another story. After Roman stepped away, Marlena explained that this was Allie’s story to tell, not theirs.

John got angry, blustering and raging about Tripp. Roman walked back in the room, and he wondered if John was ok. John responded with anger toward Roman, and then he apologized, saying that the brain aneurysm had changed him.

In a bit, Marlena got a call from an unknown number, and the person hung up. John said that he wanted to take Marlena home and hold her all evening, which Marlena thought sounded great.

At Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) apartment, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) told Nicole and Allie that Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) had been great and that she had gotten a good DNA sample from him.

After Kayla left, Allie wondered why Tripp had agreed to a DNA test. Nicole thought that maybe Tripp believed his own lie.

Nicole and Allie then discussed how Ciara Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) memorial was tomorrow, and how brave Nicole has been being separated from Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).

Later, Allie fed Henry, and she noted that it was getting a little easier to be around Henry, and that it helped that the DNA test would bring the truth out soon.

At Steve and Kayla’s place, Tripp returned to find Steve there alone. Tripp soon went to bed, still upset that Kayla didn’t believe his side of the story. Kayla returned, and she was feeling bad about doing a secret DNA test without Tripp’s permission.

Tripp came out of the bedroom wondering what they were talking about, and Kayla covered, even when Tripp said that he couldn’t find his toothbrush.

Kayla apologized for things being so tense between them, and Tripp replied that he wasn’t going to ever agree to a DNA test. Tripp left the room upset, and Kayla left shortly thereafter to take the DNA samples to the lab. “When we get the results back, we’ll figure out how to deal with this,” Kayla said, and Steve told her that he loved her.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) argued in their bedroom. Sarah demanded that Xander apologize to Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), which Xander didn’t want to do.

Sarah said that Xander could sleep in the guest room if he didn’t apologize. Sarah urged Xander to be civil to Philip and to let him fail on his own. Xander left the room, supposedly to go to the guest room for the evening.

Down in the living room, Philip was on the phone with the mystery person talking about Xander when Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) walked in and overheard.

Brady was looking for Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), and Philip needled Brady about Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) arrest and confession. Brady needled Philip right back about sharing the CEO spot with Xander.

Brady then demanded to know who Philip was in allegiance with on the phone, but Philip said it was none of Brady’s business. Xander arrived in the living room, and he and Brady traded barbs about Kristen before Brady left in frustration to find Victor.

Xander and Philip sparred, and Philip needled Xander about his “romantic” dinner with Sarah until Xander refused to apologize like he had planned on doing.

Xander and Philip traded insults in typical fashion, with Xander telling Philip that he’d better not move in on Sarah again. Upstairs, Brady encountered Sarah in the hallway and Sarah asked what was wrong.

Brady replied that he had run into Xander, and he wondered why Sarah bothered getting back together with that jerk. “Sometimes I ask myself the same thing,” Sarah said.
