Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) may have to reevaluate his priorities soon. It’s clear that Xander’s becoming a bit obsessed with the idea of success and power. Xander views Titan’s CEO seat as a way to prove how far he’s come and cement himself as part of the Kiriakis family.
However, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will likely wind up giving the position to Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) instead. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander and Philip will battle it out for the Titan throne during the week of August 31-September 4.
Once Philip and Xander have sufficiently shown off what each of them brings to the table, Victor will have a difficult decision to make.
Despite Xander’s loyalty and help on plenty of schemes, Victor betrayed him by kicking him off the throne for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). Of course, Xander’s the one who stole the job in the first place, but the point is Xander’s been good to Victor. DOOL viewers know Xander has played by Victor’s rules for the most part.
That’s why it’s so hard for Victor to toss Xander out of the CEO seat again. Even so, Philip is Victor’s son and this is the only way to keep him in town. Philip doesn’t see why he should stick around unless he’s top dog at Titan.
Since we know Philip will indeed remain in Salem, that seemingly ensures a victory. If not, Philip’s bound to keep at it until he swoops in and swipes that seat.
In other words, Days spoilers say Xander’s about to sink to a low point. Is there a way to turn things around for poor Xander after these tough times? That brings us back to the shifting priorities we mentioned. Xander may lose the Titan throne, but Sarah could easily drop a baby bomb on him in the near future.
There was certainly a lot of baby talk between Sarah and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) at the hospital recently. Lani felt foolish for panicking over every little thing, but that’s just what happens when you’ve lost a baby before.
Sarah was able to relate to that and suggested she’d do her part to bring Lani’s twins into the world safely.
Since Sarah reflected on her own experience, maybe she’ll get another chance at a family soon – just like the one Lani’s getting. Except this time, Xander would be the true father! He wouldn’t have to pretend like he did when he tried to pass Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) baby off as his own.
Sarah and Xander may be ready for a new challenge soon. Perhaps Xander will trade business battles for baby bottles and happily let Philip enjoy his victory. As other Days news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
