Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will make a big decision about his future. DOOL viewers know Steve’s had a rough time ever since his microchip was removed. First, Steve struggled over the way he hurt Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and couldn’t believe that he’d tried to kill her. Steve was quick to push Kayla away as a result.
Of course, Steve later changed his mind and wanted to get back together with Kayla, but Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) had already proposed by then. Nothing seems to be going Steve’s way, so he’ll opt to just check out of the situation.
Since Steve fully expects Kayla and Justin to tie the knot, he’ll determine that he can’t hang around and watch them live happily ever after.
Days spoilers say Steve will deliver some huge news to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). It looks like Steve will admit that he’s decided to leave town.
Marlena and John may encourage Steve to stick around instead – especially John. Steve’s his buddy, and John was really looking forward to working together again at Black Patch.
However, Steve may open up about the pain he’ll endure if he stays. Kayla and Steve are bound to keep crossing paths, so Steve can’t keep doing this. How’s Steve supposed to just pretend everything’s fine after the love of his life marries someone else?
Steve will apparently want to leave Salem before Kayla and Justin make it official.
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Steve will say his goodbyes and take off, so John will lean on Marlena in the aftermath. Since John will know how much he’s going to miss Steve, he’ll really have a hard time with these updates.
Fortunately, Steve’s plans are going to change! Days spoilers say Kayla will make sure of that. It won’t be long until Kayla corners Steve and demands some answers.
Kayla will probably want to know why Steve feels the need to leave. This could be the long-awaited moment when they finally stop dancing around their feelings for each other. “Stayla” fans have certainly been looking forward to Steve and Kayla’s reunion, which is hopefully just around the corner.
Between this encounter and some other issues happening during the week of July 6-10, it’s safe to say Justin and Kayla’s DOOL wedding won’t be completed.
