Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, January 30, tease that “Steve Johnson” aka Stefano DiMera (Stephen Nichols) will have some explaining to do. John Black (Drake Hogestyn) just found Stefano’s ring in “Steve’s” bag, so he’s wondering what his buddy’s doing with it. Of course, John doesn’t realize Stefano simply has his own ring!
“Steve” will brush it off as nothing and argue that Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) handed it over before they left Salem. He’ll contend that since the ring is such a crucial part of Stefano’s identity, they could use it as part of their trap.
Speaking of traps, Days of Our Lives spoilers say John’s about to walk into one – and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) will be part of it. That’s undoubtedly why Stefano insisting on going to his latest meeting alone.
Stefano’s been plotting his own “murder,” so Dr. Rolf will “shoot” him in front of John on Thursday. Stefano will think it’ll make John more vulnerable if he believe his best friend is dead from this mission.
Once Dr. Rolf pitches in, John will be distracted long enough to get bashed in the head. He’ll be taken back in Salem, where he’ll be chained up and left hanging from the ceiling somewhere.
Meanwhile, Princess Gina Von Amberg aka “Hope Brady” (Kristian Alfonso) will focus on a trap of her own. It looks like Princess Gina will pull a gun on Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and tell her that she must “die.”
However, Marlena will actually find herself in a situation like the one John’s in. She’ll be bound and locked up somewhere – just waiting for her “hero” to come along. “Steve” will pretend to save the day by the end of the week while “Hope” pretends to do the same for John.
Elsewhere, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will make a shocking confession. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) suspects Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) was holding back about her meeting with Stefano. He’s wondering what secrets his sister is keeping from him.
DOOL fans can expect guilt to prompt Kate’s confession, but it doesn’t seem like she’ll spill the whole truth to Chad. Days spoilers say Chad will still have suspicions along with Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) next week, so Kate may only spill part of the story – or perhaps she’ll blab to someone like Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) instead.
