Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, November 5 Recap - Kate Invites Jake To Anniversary Party - JJ's Back - Gwen Sets Abigail Up

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, November 5, reveal that Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) was in town square when she bumped into Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain). As they chatted, Jennifer learned that Bonnie had been talking with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) and that Justin had forgiven Bonnie. Jennifer was dumbfounded.

Jennifer cautioned Bonnie on how other people in town haven’t forgotten all the things that Bonnie did to Justin and to Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). Bonnie told Jennifer that she donated all the money she won from her lawsuit to Sonny Kiriakis’ (Freddie Smith) company in Adrienne’s name.

Jennifer was impressed, and she said that she believed Bonnie.

Meanwhile, over at the Kiriakis mansion, Justin was melancholy about it being the day of his anniversary with Adrienne. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) showed up to say that he knew this day couldn’t be easy on Justin.

Through their conversation, it was revealed that Justin wasn’t going to Jack and Jennifer’s anniversary party, and Justin mentioned forgiving Bonnie.

Jack blustered about Bonnie, and Justin said that being angry with Bonnie just made everything worse…besides, he liked Bonnie. Jack was incredulous, but he ultimately decided that Justin needed to be happy and he said that if Bonnie made Justin smile and laugh, then that was ok.

Later, Bonnie and Justin bumped into each other outside the Brady Pub. Bonnie hesitatingly asked if Justin wanted to come inside for a beer, but Justin declined. However, Justin did say that he’d join Bonnie some other time. That made Bonnie happy.

At the DiMera mansion, Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) was getting ready when Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) knocked on the door. Kate seemed disappointed that it wasn’t Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash).

Chad asked if Kate would come to the anniversary party for Jack and Jennifer. Kate balked, but Chad insisted, and he said that Kate could even bring a date.

Down in the living room, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) lured Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) to the living room, and after some small talk, she said that she had a surprise for Abigail.

Abigail closed her eyes and when she opened them, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) was standing there. Abigail was thrilled to see her brother, and Gwen gave them some privacy.

Abigail and JJ happily caught up, and JJ said that he loved working with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) in South Africa. JJ inquired about whether Gwen was single, and just then Chad walked in and greeted JJ happily. Chad told Abigail that he just invited Kate to the party, and Abigail balked a little, but eventually she agreed that it was ok.

Back up in Kate’s room, Kate left, and Gwen entered, going straight to the armoire. Gwen checked a shoebox full of letters and said, “Good, it’s still here. Let the games begin.”

Gwen then went back downstairs where she hid a pair of Abigail’s shoes under the couch. Abigail soon materialized, saying that she couldn’t find her shoes.

Gwen got a bright idea to go take a pair of Kate’s shoes, and she and Abigail went up to Kate’s room. Gwen rummaged around the armoire and retrieved some shoes, “accidentally” knocking over the box of letters.

Abigail rushed to pick up the letters, and she stopped in her tracks as she saw one of the letters. “Is something the matter?” Gwen asked Abigail.

Meanwhile, down in the living room, Jack and Jennifer were stunned as JJ walked in to surprise them. Jack and Jennifer were thrilled, and JJ explained that Gwen had arranged for him to be there. “Gwen said it would be a night I wouldn’t want to miss,” JJ said happily.

At the Salem PD, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) sat in jail. Jake arrived and bailed him out, then took him back to his room at the Salem Inn. Ben walked in and notice Ciara Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) robe sitting on a chair.

Jake did his best to get Ben to avoid sitting around the room and grieving, but Ben just wanted to be alone. Jake took off, and Ben cuddled Ciara’s robe sadly and looked despondent.

Back in town square, Kate was on her way to the party for Jack and Jennifer when someone whistled at her from afar. It turned out to be Jake, and he quickly learned where Kate was headed.

Jake said that he was suspicious of the party since Gwen put it together. Kate asked Jake to come to the party as her plus one. “Are you asking me on a date?” Jake asked.
