Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, December 1, tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will take a trip to Statesville for a grilling session. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) recently received a mysterious female visitor – at least she’s mysterious to Xander and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
DOOL fans know the mystery woman is Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), but Xander only knows this visitor was calling herself “Angela Van de Camp.” He’ll hope he can pry more information out of Kristen in Tuesday’s episode, but she probably won’t offer up any.
Instead, Kristen will likely stay tight-lipped about Ava’s return from the dead. She promised Ava her silence, so it’s doubtful she’ll go back on her word. Of course, there’s a chance Xander will pick up on a clue or two anyway. For example, the mystery woman’s initials might provide a hint.
Days viewers will recall that Ava’s door at the warehouse in Nashville was labeled “A.V.” Ava’s alias has the same initials, so that might be an intriguing puzzle piece when paired with a few more. Xander helped take care of the recovering captives before the fire, so we’ll see if his memories help him eventually.
In the meantime, Sarah will quiz Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) about what his life was like before he came back to Salem. Sarah will hope Philip might let something slip that could reveal the identity of his mysterious ally.
Unfortunately, it looks like Philip will clam up for the most part. Sarah’s connection to Xander will leave Philip wary of opening up or letting Sarah too close.
Since Sarah will tell Xander they have to split on Wednesday, Tuesday’s cliffhanger may bring Sarah’s fake breakup suggestion. It might be the only way Philip will let his guard down and reveal anything at all.
Over with Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) and Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans), they’ll find a way to stir up some jealousy for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth).
Bonnie and Jennifer will find a couple of guys to laugh over drinks with – and they’ll make sure Justin and Jack have a front-row seat for their “dates.”
In the town square, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) will experience some jealousy as well. An innocent hug between Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will manage to set Charlie off.
After suspicious Charlie questions Claire about her bond with Ben, she’ll make it clear that Ben is just a pal. However, Charlie will remain on edge as he reluctantly goes to work and leaves Claire with Ben.
That’ll give Ben and Claire an opportunity to go through Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) old stuff and continue grieving together.
Once Claire helps Ben do some sorting in his suite, he’ll encourage Claire to take something that belonged to Ciara – a special memento of Claire’s choosing. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will select a locket and embrace Ben as she breaks down in tears.
There’ll be some close moments between them, but it seems their relationship will remain strictly platonic for now.
Nevertheless, Charlie will battle even more concerns about this friendship once he spots that necklace and hears that Ben’s been spending time alone with Claire! We’ll pass along updates as other Days news emerges.
