Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, June 18, teases that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will get too inquisitive. At the Kiriakis mansion, Xander will grab the copy of Crime and Punishment Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) using. Jake’s scrambling to fill the margins with names and numbers so it’ll look like the one he stole from “the family.” He needs to make this exchange as soon as possible, but Xander will cause another delay.
Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will step up to help Jake on Thursday. They’ll work to convince Xander to hand the book over, but he’ll wonder why it’s so important.
Xander won’t particularly care when he hears Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) in a dangerous situation. He’ll want to read this book before he returns it to Jake, so the rescue gang will intervene. There’s nothing special about this decoy book anyway, but Ben, Ciara and Jake don’t have time to stand around and explain.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say the three of them will get into a struggle with Xander. Jake, Ciara and Ben will literally have to pry the book out of Xander’s hands, but he’ll finally surrender. Xander will think Jake and his backup lovebirds have totally lost it, so he’ll just decide to let this go.
Of course, one thing Xander isn’t letting go of is his future with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey)! DOOL spoilers say Sarah will be across town in Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) bed – but not for long.
Brady and Sarah still haven’t slept together, so we’ll learn why on Thursday. Performance issues will plague Brady, but that’s only because he’s still madly in love with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Although Sarah would like to pour salt in Xander’s wound, she may admit she doesn’t really want to hook up either – not for real anyway. Sarah should be glad they skipped it when Xander arrives and leads her to his special gift in the cemetery.
Xander will show Sarah a headstone he had made for the daughter Sarah actually gave birth to.
Sarah never had a chance to say goodbye to the real Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton, so this is her opportunity. Days spoilers say Sarah will let the tears flow as she reflects on her loss. Once Xander joins Sarah by the grave, it’ll help these two connect again. Xander certainly won’t be out of the doghouse yet, but Sarah will at least be grateful.
Back with Jake and Ben, they’ll head to the hideout and let Jimmy (Chuma Gault) know they’ve got the book. Ben and Jake probably could’ve deceived Jimmy if he were alone, but someone over Jimmy will be part of this showdown. Jake’s boss or perhaps the boss’ right-hand man will want to make sure the book’s the real deal.
Obviously, that’s a huge problem since this is just a regular edition of Crime and Punishment. The names and numbers in it are fake, so the plan’s about to blow up. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben and Jake will land in hot water, so that’ll land Gabi in more trouble, too. Gabi will have a knife held to her throat as all this goes down.
Luckily, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will be hot on Jake and Ben’s trail. Once Lani and Eli rush in, shots will be fired in this fierce faceoff. Jake, Ben and Gabi will make it out of this safely – and that’s all thanks to Lani and Eli’s brave actions.
Meanwhile, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will quiz Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) about her friend from Bayview. After Gwen (Emily O’Brien) arrived, Claire hid her and lied to John again.
Days spoilers say John won’t be pleased – and neither will Marlena. They need to be able to trust Claire or this arrangement is never going to work.
DOOL fans can expect Claire to confess and try to talk her way out of this mess. The book will also come into play as John pushes Gwen to let him see it. Claire assured Gwen that John was like Salem’s James Bond once upon a time.
Claire knows her grandparents can handle drama like this, but Gwen will remain uneasy as she gets grilled.
Nevertheless, it looks like John and Marlena will learn enough to know Gwen’s mixed up in some terrible stuff. They may not like the fact that Claire’s pals with Gwen, whose ex-boyfriend has mob ties.
