Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 22, teases that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will look forward to hosting a Christmas Eve gathering. They always enjoy a chance to spend time with their nearest and dearest – especially during the holidays.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will arrive soon after his latest visit to Statesville, so he’ll offer updates on how Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is coping. Although Kristen’s holding up OK, Brady can tell she’s really missing her daughter.
Being apart from Brady and Rachel Black (Josephine and Rosalind May) has definitely been tough on Kristen, but she just has to keep taking it day by day.
Brady assured Kristen that he came up with a sentimental present for Marlena. Kristen just wants a way to show her appreciation since Marlena has been stepping up for Rachel in Kristen’s absence.
Days spoilers say Marlena will open her gift and find the framed photo Brady talked about – one of Marlena holding little Rachel. It won’t be long until Marlena finds the perfect spot for that picture frame.
Speaking of pictures, the family will gather for a holiday group photo on Tuesday. We just have to get everyone in one place first!
Before Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) joins the rest of the gang, she’ll hang out with Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) and thank her for Henry Horton’s (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) cute Santa outfit. It’ll be a sweet Christmas present – one that may distract Nicole from her sadness.
This is sure to be a tough holiday for Nicole since Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is still pitching in with the villagers. The Congo should seem awfully far on this Christmas Eve.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole will admit a secret in Tuesday’s episode. Although Eric isn’t planning on coming home for the holidays, Nicole might confess that part of her hopes he’ll walk through that door anyway.
There’ll be a sense of excitement once someone actually shows up at the door later. Nicole might suspect her Christmas wish will come true, but it’ll be Will Horton (Chandler Massey) who appears looking for Allie. Nicole may have to mask her disappointment if she indeed gets her hopes up about Eric.
Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander) might spend some time with Grandma Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), which would leave Nicole all alone after Will and Allie exit.
Thankfully, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will make this Christmas Eve a little less lonely once he arrives. Look for Rafe and Nicole to share some Christmas cookies and warm moments once Wednesday rolls around.
Until then, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) will deal with more hostage drama in his apartment. Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will try to scream for help, but Charlie will insist they can’t have that! He needs Ava to keep her mouth shut while he’s at a Christmas get-together with Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) family.
That means Ava will be gagged to go along with the restraints she’s already in. Once Charlie feels certain Ava’s locked in and not going anywhere, he’ll dash off to meet up with Claire. Charlie will mix and mingle with the rest of the partygoers, so he’ll have a chance to exchange introductions with Allie.
Claire will be excited for her cousin to meet the new boyfriend she’s been gushing about, but Charlie will be filled with fear. Allie hasn’t recalled anything about Charlie so far, but she might have some memory flashes at some point. Charlie at least knows that’s a risk since he’s to blame for her assault.
It doesn’t look like Allie will remember anything incriminating, but that won’t put Charlie’s mind at ease. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Charlie’s guilt will take a toll on him in Tuesday’s show.
While Charlie battles remorse and concerns, Belle Black (Martha Madison) will accept Shawn Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) romantic marriage proposal.
After Shawn asks Belle to be his wife, he’ll suggest doing it right there at the Christmas gathering. After all, Belle and Shawn will have their closest loved ones around to watch.
DOOL spoilers state that Marlena will perform the ceremony, but there’ll be an unfortunate interruption. Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will call right in the middle of the wedding, so that’ll leave Belle furious.
Marlena will start to answer, but Belle will insist her mom shouldn’t even think about it! She’ll be adamant that no one’s going to rain on her wedding parade – not Sami or anyone else! Once Shawn and Belle are pronounced husband and wife, they’ll seal it with a kiss.
Back with Charlie, he’ll decide he can’t stand being in the same room with his victim any longer. Charlie will make a quick escape and blame it on feeling sick, but he’ll really just be sick with regret and terror.
A baffled Claire will wonder if Charlie is really coming down with something or if he has another reason for taking off.
