Days of Our Lives Spoilers Update: Wednesday, December 16 – Danger for Ava – Charlie’s Terrible Excuses – Philip’s Deadly News

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Wednesday, December 16, teases that Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will feel like things are really turning around in her love life.

DOOL fans know Claire’s been obsessed with certain guys in the past, but that was mostly due to her constant need to compete with Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal).

Now Claire has a guy who’s interested in her alone, so she’s eager to go all in with Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) and see where their growing feelings take them. Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will get more updates on Claire’s new beau this Wednesday.

Once Claire’s thoroughly gushed over Charlie and how amazing he is, Allie will be truly ecstatic for her cousin.

Allie will really hope things work out as well as Claire’s hoping, but there’s a big problem: Charlie is Allie’s rapist! At Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) place, she’ll push Charlie to come clean.

Ava feels confident Charlie assaulted Allie in London when he was following Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) on Ava’s orders.

Charlie has refused to admit that so far, but Ava’s adamant that Tripp is innocent – and that means his brother is the guilty party. Charlie is indeed Tripp’s brother, so Ava may explain more on that topic as she demands Charlie’s full admission.

Of course, Charlie may eventually admit he slept with Allie, but he might act like it was consensual or that they were both wasted. There’ll probably be some bogus explanation that Charlie offers, but it’s obvious Allie suffered real trauma at the hands of her assaulter.

Ava knows Allie wouldn’t be threatening to shoot off Tripp’s privates if there weren’t more to the story!

While Ava and Charlie battle over the truth, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will grab a cup of coffee with Tripp. They’ll sit down at a table in the town square to discuss some important matters – like how Tripp has to be careful when it comes to his mother.

Steve will offer Tripp a stern warning about the dangers of trusting Ava, but Tripp will be determined to give his mom a chance.

Tripp and Steve will also talk about Allie’s accusations and Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) belief in them. Although Tripp will understand why Kayla buys the DNA proof, he’ll still wish he could make all of this drama go away.

Tripp just wants to go back to the way things were before – back when Kayla didn’t look at him with such disappointment in her eyes.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve won’t give up on proving Tripp’s innocence, so he’ll hug his son before they go their separate ways for the night. While Tripp returns to Ava’s place, Steve will bump into Allie.

Despite the immediate tension, Steve will wonder if Allie would be willing to talk about the night she was attacked.

Allie will feel like Steve’s in total denial and really won’t want to rehash all this, but she’ll end up answering Steve’s questions anyway. Steve will try to zero in on what Allie actually remembers as opposed to memory gaps her mind might be filling in.

Look for Steve to focus on the hand holding Allie down once Thursday’s episode rolls around. Steve won’t be convinced that was Tripp’s hand at all.

Back at Ava’s apartment, will she get rid of Charlie before they’re interrupted? Days spoilers say Tripp will be on his way home, so that’s one concern.

Another one might be Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) since Ava will land in peril within the next couple episodes. Xander might threaten “Angela Van de Camp” now that he knows who she really is.

If Charlie’s stuck at Ava’s place when one of his bosses arrives, he might scramble to hide before he gets busted!

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will get put on notice. No matter how much Xander reveals, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will know Philip is up to something shady. Philip may realize he could get tossed out of Titan if Victor can prove Xander’s claims.

That could mean even worse news for Philip, who needs to launder this money for the Vitali family to save his own life. Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) can tell Philip might be struggling more than he’s letting on, so that may be what she tells Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) in Wednesday’s DOOL episode.

Days viewers can expect Brady to offer guidance and be a real friend to Chloe, so she’ll certainly appreciate that. There’ll be some “Broe” bonding, though it’ll just be about strengthening their friendship for now.
