Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of October 5-9 teases that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will feel like there must be some mistake. When Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) reveals Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rape allegations, Steve will defend Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) innocence.
Tripp will also assure Lani that Allie is lying; he’ll be in panic mode as he faces a grilling session at the Salem PD. Days spoilers say Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will eventually arrive to spare Tripp from further questions, so Tripp will be allowed to leave for now.
It won’t be long until Tripp shows up at Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) place, where Allie will answer the door. Tripp will barge in and demand to know why Allie would accuse him of something he didn’t do.
It’ll leave Tripp incensed since he’ll claim he saw Allie was drunk and tried to do a good deed by taking her home.
Allie will think Tripp’s the one who’s lying, so this Days showdown will escalate until Nicole breaks it up. Tripp will leave, but he’ll remain worried about how all this is going to play out for him.
At the hospital, Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will stun Steve by implying that Tripp may be guilty. Kayla will suggest that Tripp might be one of those guys who can’t take no for an answer.
Steve will struggle to buy that since he feels like he knows his son’s heart. It’ll be a big mess as people take sides and try to figure out what’s what. Meanwhile, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will tell Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) what she wants him to do.
As part of Eli and Melinda’s agreement to keep Lani out of prison, Melinda will push Eli to get her a taped confession from Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Eli will battle doubts about whether he can do that, but Melinda will think he’s a smart guy and can find a way – especially since there’s so much at stake for his family. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eli will show up in Kristen’s suite later and blast her over Lani’s dilemma.
Kristen will acknowledge that she feels terrible, but Eli will think she should save it. “I don’t give a damn about how you feel!” Eli yells in DOOL’s extended weekly preview.
Once Eli gets Kristen upset, she’ll probably recap how she wishes she could take back stabbing Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). Kristen may promise Eli she regrets her attempted murder and hates that Lani’s been dragged into this.
Eli will eventually leave with the recording on his phone, so he’ll be able to hand over the jackpot confession to Melinda – that is if he follows through on her demands!
As for Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson), he’ll get out on bail and corner Xander Kiriaks (Paul Telfer). Philip will feel certain Xander put Jan up to the arrest and call Xander out for being so dumb.
Xander will tell Philip to watch it and will nearly get into another physical confrontation with him. However, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) might come along to settle things down.
Regardless, Philip will offer updates to Victor, who’ll be livid over Xander’s blatant disloyalty to the family. Xander will be thrown out of Titan, so he has a real downer of a week in his future!
Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), on the other hand, will sense that things might be looking up for her. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Claire will cross paths with a cute Titan intern named Charlie.
Despite accidentally drenching Charlie in her green smoothie, Claire will leave Charlie rather enchanted by her beauty and feisty attitude.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Charlie will wonder if Claire would like to go out with him, so it looks like she’ll be on board with a date. Claire will also be there for Allie in the week ahead.
She’ll learn about Allie accusing Tripp of rape, so she should enjoy the lighthearted scenes with Charlie that’ll come afterward.
