Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will encounter a familiar and unsettling face back in Salem. After Ben’s brainwashing ordeal, he’ll try to focus on building a new life with Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal).
Unfortunately, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) and Vincent’s (Michael Teh) conditioning will leave Ben struggling to shake deadly thoughts.
Ben’s strangling nightmares will leave him concerned for Ciara’s safety and his own mental health. Although Ben won’t divulge these disturbing dreams to Ciara, Days spoilers say he’ll still need to talk to someone. Ben can’t keep something like this bottled up, so that’s where Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) may come in.
Due to what Ben’s been through, Marlena may think it’s wise to have some sessions anyway. Marlena feels a special connection with Ben, who’s worked hard to overcome his old mentality.
Ben certainly doesn’t want to harm Ciara, so he’ll undoubtedly want to speak with Marlena about what he can do to prevent a relapse. The plan may be for Ben and Marlena to tackle this challenge together.
However, Ben will make a startling discovery during the week of August 10-14. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will stumble upon Vincent in Marlena’s office.
Of course, we have to ask: What exactly will Vincent be doing there? It’s no coincidence that Vincent will end up in the office of Ben’s shrink – the one person besides Ciara who Ben trusts completely.
Will Vincent decide to use another tactic as part of his programming? Vincent was surprised by just how strong Ben’s love for Ciara was. He thought for sure the first round of brainwashing would get the job done, but he was wrong. Ben fought his orders to kill Ciara, so Vincent planned to up all the dosages and finish this.
Following Ciara and Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) interruption, Vincent will return to Salem with Eve. The scheme may have changed, but the goal should remain the same: getting Ben to kill Ciara. Perhaps Vincent will decide to try a different strategy involving Marlena.
DOOL fans know Marlena often uses hypnosis on her patients. Vincent is also a master of mind control, so what if Marlena’s influenced to give Ben orders while he’s under?
Maybe Vincent will be in Marlena’s office to slip something in her drink or something along those lines. Vincent may feel like he can get drugged Marlena to encourage Ben’s dark desires without even realizing it.
There’s no guarantee that plot will pan out since Vincent will get busted, but that could easily be his intention. Whatever the case, there has to be some reason for this Marlena office visit. Controlling Marlena’s mind might be the best way to influence Ben’s actions.
