Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, July 22, tease that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will surprise Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) by asking her to be his “Cin” wedding date. Jake promised he’d show up to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) nuptials, so he’ll wonder if Gabi would like to be his plus one.
Gabi may acknowledge that this request is sudden and a bit awkward under the circumstances. Jake is Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) twin brother, so that adds some weirdness here.
However, Jake might insist it doesn’t have to be a big deal. Jake and Gabi have been having a nice time together, so they might as well keep it going by attending the ceremony together.
Days spoilers say Gabi will accept Jake’s invitation, so they’ll indeed make it in time for the wedding. Next, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will take Ciara by the arm and walk Ben’s bride down the aisle. Ben will be one over-the-moon groom when he sees Ciara coming toward him.
It won’t be long until Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is leading Ben and Ciara through some beautiful vows. Ciara and Ben will be on cloud nine as they declare their love in front of all their guests. Of course, no one at this wedding will realize there’s a bomb that’s about to explode!
Days viewers just got a glimpse of that bomb – and we’ll probably get a few more as the happy nuptials play out. DOOL will want to remind fans of just how much is at stake for these soon-to-be newlyweds.
Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Belle Black (Martha Madison) will trip Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) up. Belle’s already been concerned about her daughter, but she’ll be even more concerned when she discovers Claire lied.
That lie might involve the save-the-date card and the fact that Claire knew about the “Cin” wedding far sooner than she let on. Then again, it might have something to do with Claire sneaking out.
Belle just caught Claire returning home, but Claire insisted she didn’t go anywhere special. If someone spotted Claire near the church, that’s going to spell trouble.
The good news is Claire’s innocent – just as she’s claimed all along. The bad news is there’s still a bomb in the church – a bomb that’ll explode by the time Wednesday’s episode concludes! As other DOOL info comes in, we’ll pass along updates.
