Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, July 29 Recap - Ben Meets Vincent and Eve - Allie Goes Into Labor

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 29, reveal that Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) was working in the DiMera mansion when Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) came in.

Kate said that she heard that Lucas slept with Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) and she demanded to know why. Lucas said that he hadn’t slept with Bonnie, and that Bonnie showed up in his bedroom and he got rid of her. Kate was relieved.

Lucas then shared that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) were going to adopt Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) baby. Kate thought that was odd, and she said that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) had really wanted a child.

Eventually, Kate got it out of Lucas that Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) had interfered with Rafe’s decision-making. Lucas begged Kate to keep it to herself, and Kate agreed.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Will and Sonny decided to tell Ari Horton (Sydney Brower) about adopting Allie’s baby. Ari wasn’t particularly thrilled with the idea, and she said she’d much rather have a puppy, then she went off to watch TV.

Will and Sonny chatted privately and decided to basically bribe Ari with a puppy, so they called Ari back and told her that after the baby comes, they’d see about getting a puppy.

Ari asked Will and Sonny point blank whether the puppy was a bribe to make her want the baby. Will asked where Ari learned that word, and Ari said, “Mommy taught me – She does it all the time.” “Well, does it work?” Sonny asked. “Sometimes,” Ari said happily, and the three shared a group hug.

At Statesville, Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) learned from Clyde Weston (James Read) that Orpheus (George DelHoyo) wasn’t in the prison anymore. Clyde suggested that Ciara get Rafe to investigate and see where Orpheus is now, since Orpheus could have set that bomb.

Clyde took Ciara’s hands and told Ciara that she’s Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) wife now, and she’s responsible for his well-being. “You saved his life once before, you need to do it again,” Clyde said.

At the Salem PD, Rafe talked with Sami, who was horrified to learn that Rafe told Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) that Sami interfered and asked him not to adopt Allie’s baby. “You threw me under the bus!” Sami fumed.

Sami then rushed off to go talk with Nicole. Ciara arrived to see Rafe, and she relayed everything from her conversation with Clyde about Orpheus being a suspect and being missing from Statesville.

Rafe made some calls and found out that Orpheus was transferred to a super max prison, so he couldn’t have set the bomb. Rafe and Ciara decided that they were back to square one and Ciara openly wondered who could have set the bomb.

At Nicole and Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) apartment, Nicole told Allie that she talked with Rafe and that Rafe admitted that Sami had basically made up his mind for him about the baby.

Allie was very upset, and about that time Sami knocked on the door looking for Nicole. A defiant Allie opened the door and immediately confronted Sami about what she had done.

Allie demanded to know what Sami said to Rafe, and Allie and Sami argued hotly. Allie went on about how Sami tries to ruin everything. Suddenly Allie had a great pain, and Sami immediately deduced that Allie was in labor. Sami instructed Allie to breathe in and out as she remained in great pain.

At some warehouse, Ben peered into the light coming from the doorway, and some guy walked in. “Hello, Mr. Weston. My name is Vincent,” the guy said. Vincent (Michael Teh) said that he was the one who blew Ben’s wedding to smithereens.

“Where the hell is Ciara!” Ben bellowed. Vincent calmly explained that Ciara was fine, and that Ben was the target.

Very upset, Ben asked why Vincent had blown up his wedding and why he was brought here. “I did it because I was paid to,” Vincent said. Ben thought that Clyde was the culprit, but Vincent brushed that suggestion off.

Ben demanded to know who put Vincent up to this, and Vincent responded by taking out a baton and hitting Ben with it a few times.

Soon, a woman’s voice could be heard. “That’s enough, Vincent, I’ll take it from here,” the voice said. Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) walked in the doorway. “Eve Donovan?” Ben said. “Hello, Ben,” Eve said calmly.
