Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, October 28 Recap - Evan Escapes - Rolf Tells Kayla She’s Birthing Baby Stefano

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 28, reveal that Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) arrived at University Hospital to meet Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), who was very upset about Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) being missing.

Soon, Steve and Roman got access to the hospital security footage, and they saw Kayla and Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) together.

Steve was horrified, and he called Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and learned about Rolf being at the DiMera mansion earlier that evening. Steve learned that Chad had destroyed the microchip containing Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) “essence,” and he wondered exactly what Rolf wanted with Kayla at this point.

Steve then discovered that Kayla had driven Rolf somewhere, and he lamented that they could be anywhere by now.

At some laboratory, Rolf brought Kayla in at gunpoint and showed her something in an incubator-type container. “Is that Stefano’s?” Kayla asked. Rolf responded affirmatively, saying that Stefano had donated it to science.

Rolf then told Kayla that he was going to clone an entirely new Stefano and that she was going to help him do it. Kayla thought that was absurd, and she refused to help.

But then Rolf whipped out a syringe and threatened Kayla with it, and Kayla made up a story about how she understood that Rolf was lonely for Stefano and that she’d help him.

Rolf explained how he’d create an embryo with a donor egg, and that a surrogate was needed to carry the cloned Stefano. Kayla asked where Rolf would find a surrogate, and Rolf said that Kayla would carry Stefano’s clone.

In the park, Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) realized that Clyde Weston (James Read) was holding a baby in his arms, and she went to call the police and discovered an emergency alert on her phone saying that Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) had been kidnapped.

Kate insisted that Clyde give her the baby, but Clyde refused, and he made Kate throw her phone in the bushes.

Kate tried to get Clyde to take her as a hostage instead of Henry, but then Henry started crying due to his ear infection. Reluctantly, Clyde gave Kate the baby so she could stop him from crying, and as it turned out, Henry wouldn’t stop crying.

Kate said that she had a pacifier in her purse, but when she reached into her purse, she whipped out a gun and promptly shot Clyde, who fell to the ground.

At the warehouse, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Orpheus (George DelHoyo) played cards and waited for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hal) and Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) to arrive.

Eventually, Marlena and Evan arrived, and Orpheus was happy to see his son, but Evan wasn’t thrilled to be in his dad’s presence. Orpheus told Evan that they’d go get David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends) and run off together. Evan was very reluctant to agree, but eventually he did.

Orpheus said that he and Evan needed to leave pronto, and he demanded that John tie up Marlena. Marlena and John protested, saying that they had a deal and that they wanted to know where Henry was.

Orpheus said that the deal was off, and just then Evan knocked Orpheus over the head with a bucket. Orpheus fell unconscious onto the ground.

Marlena was impressed with Evan for helping them, and John interjected that they still didn’t know where Henry was. Evan said that he wasn’t ready to raise David, and Marlena said that he had done the right thing.

John called the cops, and he told Marlena that the police and an ambulance was on the way before tying up Orpheus.

Evan asked if he could use his father’s phone to call his sister, and when Marlena and John turned their backs for a second, Evan disappeared. “He’s gone,” Marlena said.
