Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that viewers are in store for a big week on the NBC soap. The new DOOL preview for the week of December 14 is out, and things will get festive in Salem as some fan favorite characters return for the holidays.
But it won’t be a romantic holiday season as far as Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) is concerned. Jennifer is shown glaring at Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) as he brings her a Christmas present at the Horton house.
It looks like Jennifer isn’t quite ready to forgive Jack for his affair with Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) yet.
As Days of Our Lives viewers know, Jennifer is currently under the impression that Jack may still be carrying on an illicit affair with Kate, so she’s really not going to be in the mood for Jack trying to woo her back just yet. One wonders if Jack and Jennifer will be back together by Christmas Day!
There will, however, be some happy reunions during the holidays in Salem. Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) will be back to celebrate Christmas at the DiMera mansion with their family.
Anna is shown in the promo having a warm reunion with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) at the mansion, while Tony is shown happily greeting Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) at Statesville prison.
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, there will be one person who will be not so thrilled to see Tony and Anna come back to town, and that’s Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
At this point, Gwen feels like she’s got a well-oiled machine of deception going in the mansion, and it looks like Anna isn’t going to take to Gwen, and vice versa. Anna is shown in the promo urging Gwen to visit with her, while Gwen doesn’t look so pleased about that.
It seems that Anna will end up warning Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail to watch out for Gwen. Anna will get a bad feeling about Gwen, and her feelings will be right on!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say it looks like there will be some humorous moments as Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) meets Tony and Anna for the first time. Of course, Tony and Anna are very refined, and Jake will greet his “bro” Tony, which Tony has a big reaction to in the promo.
Next, the promo addresses Gwen’s big plan for Chad, which is to tear him away from Abigail for good. It looks like Gwen will finagle a situation in which she and Chad end up under the mistletoe together, and that will lead to some awkward moments.
Chad looks astounded to realize that he’s now supposed to kiss Gwen, who simply stares at Chad and laughs.
Perhaps someone will catch Gwen and Chad together – it would be fitting if Abigail, or even perhaps Anna, were to walk in on the scene. Something tells us that Chad would do just about anything to avoid having to kiss Gwen! We’ll see how he ends up getting out of this one.
