Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview teases that it’s time for the big party that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) have been putting together for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain).
As viewers know, the party is intended to celebrate Jack and Jennifer’s wedding anniversary, as well as the anniversary of Jennifer coming out of her year-long coma.
Well, the new DOOL promo for the week of November 2 is all about this big shindig, and it looks like it’s going to be quite the party to remember. First off, the promo shows Jack and Jennifer getting ready for the festivities at the DiMera mansion, when they get an unexpected guest.
JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) appears, saying, “So, I heard there was a party tonight.”
It’s going to be smiles all around for JJ’s big return to Salem. Presumably he’s had time away to heal from the loss of Haley Chen (Thia Megia), and it certainly looks from the promo that he’s doing well and is glad to be back with his family.
But JJ’s not the only big return to Salem that viewers will see during the week of November 2. Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) will be back as well, as he’ll surprise Abe Carver (James Reynolds) big time outside of Julie’s Place.
Viewers will remember that Theo had been in a physical rehab facility after being accidentally shot by JJ. It looks like Theo will be all healed and recovered, and he and JJ will probably need to reconnect and start their friendship anew.
From the looks of the preview, it’s going to be a positive experience all around, as Theo gives Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) a “high five” and looks to be enjoying the party thoroughly.
Well, all the festiveness will come to a screeching halt when Abigail gets her hands on a letter that was written by Jack. Of course, viewers know that Gwen has been talking up this party as a big, fun event to everyone, but privately she’s been telling herself that this is going to be a party to remember, and not in a good way.
It looks like Gwen is going to make sure the Abigail reads this letter from Jack, and it will apparently be written to Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow).
But what will this letter say? The promo doesn’t divulge that spectacular secret, but it does offer a hint as to what it might be. Abigail is shown looking pretty perturbed, as Gwen urges her to say something.
Then Abigail says, “Dad, I know what really happened…while Mom was in a coma.” We should note that the camera pans to Kate’s guilty looking face while this is being said.
The final scene of the preview is of Jennifer turning and looking at Jack and Jack looking astounded. Of course, the promo is clearly hinting that Jack and Kate may have gotten a little too close while Jennifer was in the coma.
That’s certainly not something that viewers ever saw on screen or even saw hinted on screen, but since the year of Jennifer’s coma has never been seen but in flashbacks, you never know what might have happened!
We’ll see what next week brings, but things aren’t looking good for this anniversary party, and it appears that Gwen’s plan to blow up the Deveraux family is going to be off to a big start!
