Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that an exciting return is coming near the Christmas holidays. As DOOL viewers know, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) left Salem earlier this year to head to Phoenix, where Sonny was going to head up a new company with his brothers. That left many “WilSon” fans wondering when and if they’d see Will or Sonny again on canvas.
Well, according to the new Days of Our Lives Fall Preview, viewers will get to see at least one-half of “Wilson” when Will returns for the holidays with the Hortons.
The preview video doesn’t offer much in the way of detail about Will’s visit, but it clearly shows Will embracing his little sister Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Allie and Will are wishing each other Merry Christmas.
Now, this leads to all sorts of questions about where Sonny is during this visit. Of course, he may accompany Will to Salem, but he just wasn’t shown in the Fall Preview video. Or, Will could have come home alone due to Sonny’s big work schedule, since he’s CEO of a tech startup.
You never know – Sonny could be disgruntled over Justin Kiriakis’ (Wally Kurth) burgeoning friendship with Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) and perhaps he’ll choose to stay away for the holidays to punish Justin or to not have to deal with Bonnie.
Of course, another option that’s not so pleasant is that Will and Sonny could have spilt after they left Salem, and Will is back for more than just a holiday visit.
While it would be great to get Chandler Massey back to Days of Our Lives, it would be a bummer if Will and Sonny weren’t together – but at any rate, we’re getting ahead of ourselves here!
