Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will find himself juggling some pretty intense situations in the coming days. As DOOL viewers know, he was recently startled when he saw Dr. Raynor (Victoria Platt) back in Salem and back to work at University Hospital.
This wasn’t supposed to happen, since Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Xander paid Dr. Raynor a lot of money to disappear from the Salem scene after she helped them switch babies in the nursery.
As it now stands, Dr. Raynor is the only person besides Victor and Xander who know that Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton is actually Rachel Black, the biological child of Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
But there’s someone else who will soon put the pieces of the baby swap puzzle together, and that’s Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). Nicole has seen Xander and Dr. Raynor huddling and talking about a “secret,” and she knows that Dr. Raynor was Kristen’s doctor when Rachel was delivered.
Well, according to DOOL spoilers, Nicole will do some quiet sleuthing in the days to come, and she’ll start getting very close to uncovering the secret that Dr. Raynor and Xander have. It looks like it will all come down to a birthmark that baby Rachel had, and eventually Nicole will notice this birthmark on baby Mickey.
That will lead her to strongly suspect that Mickey is actually Rachel, and she’ll go on a quest for proof, likely leading a hush-hush DNA test orchestrated by Nicole.
But while all of this is going on behind the scenes, Xander will work to silence Dr. Raynor. Of course, Victor has suggested that the doctor be silenced permanently, but Xander has refused to kill anyone.
Xander will likely seek another avenue to resolve the problem, but he’ll also have something else on his mind. Xander’s head-over-heels in love with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), and according to Days of Our Lives spoilers, he’ll soon propose to her.
We’ll see what Sarah says, but it’s likely that she’ll say yes. After all, Xander has been her rock throughout Mickey’s cancer ordeal. Sarah said repeatedly that she couldn’t have gotten through it all without Xander, and she’s deeply in love with him, too.
The sad thing here is that it looks like the couple will probably have a pretty short period of engaged bliss before all heck breaks loose. In fact, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that on the very same day that Xander proposes to Sarah, Nicole will realize that baby Mickey could actually be Kristen and Brady’s biological child.
And given that Nicole has gotten into big trouble keeping baby secrets in the past, she probably won’t be willing to hold onto this secret. She’ll surely want to tell Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) immediately that the little girl that he thinks is his actually belongs to someone else.
At any rate, it looks like Xander’s world will soon blow up big time. His engagement to Sarah will go up in smoke when she learns that Mickey isn’t hers, and that Xander has known it from the get-go.
Sarah’s going to be seriously upset, and DOOL spoilers say that she’ll even face a major emotional breakdown in the aftermath of the secret coming out. It’s hard to imagine Xander and Sarah coming back from this.
