Filthy Rich begins tonight with Becky Monreaux (Olivia Macklin) prays to God explaining everything that has happened so far to the family, including Eugene Monreaux’s (Gerald McRaney) bastard children, Ginger Sweet (Melia Kreiling), Jason Conley (Mark L. Young) and Antonio Rivera (Benjamin Levy Aguilar).

Reverend Paul Luke Thomas (Aaron Lazar) is on the Sunshine Network, promoting the site for their subscribers, preaching to the audience, reminding them of the “fallen woman” Ginger Sweet they all met; he discusses how Ginger made a mockery of the baptismal sacrament. Franklin Lee (Steve Harris) is trying to discourage Margaret Monreaux (Kim Cattrall) of bringing Ginger on her cooking segment, but she will not listen. He doesn’t want her to bring the show to a place she cannot bring back, but she reminds him that the Rev is doing it. She presents her children Eric Monreaux (Corey Cott), Rose Monreaux (Aubrey Dollar), and Eric’s wife, Becky to help her with Ginger.

Meanwhile, outside, Ginger is confronted by an angry crowd who dislike her ways of life. Margaret greets Antonio and Jason, giving them their individual assignments. Jason doesn’t want to be on camera, but he is told the entire family is going to be reintroduced; Antonio will be cooking with her, wanting to let the fans know that their blending of families can be delicious. Rose isn’t impressed that Margaret is allowing Eric to take over their father’s project, but sides with Jason. Margaret agrees to keep Jason out of everything. Margaret greets Ginger as they are introduced by the Rev for the “Wings of a Dove” segment.

Becky prays that her intentions are good as we see Eugene wandering through a store when he spots several TVs that are showing the Sunshine Network. Juliette (Juliette Lewis) hands him his vest for his first day on the job. Eugene watches as Margaret introduces his children as her own, showing Antonio and his son, Jesus. Jason refused a photo and doesn’t want his picture shown because people back home will see he is not really Jason. He pulls Rose back, playing with her hair but she stops him, saying that isn’t cool! Margaret finally gets to Ginger as all the women from her porn site cheer her on. Her mother, Tina Sweet (Rachel York) is furious that everyone is booing her in the audience. Margaret reminds everyone that Ginger needs saving and Ginger is their guest. Rose advises her to be careful as her mother likes to turn everything to her side. Ginger jokes that every time Margaret and the Rev mention her name, her site gains more followers. Ginger tells Rose that Margaret is a bully and it’s time someone slapped her back.

Margaret talks to the audience about joining the site and gifts them all with a bottle of her perfume. Ginger notices some tough-looking men walk in with the Rev, asking Rose who the “mafia” is. Rose says they are her dad’s old friends that they call “Uncle”. Antonio recognizes one of the men as Don Bouchard (Kenny Alfonso), but before they can discuss it any further, Franklin approaches them, wanting to know why they are there. Rev says they are concerned about the change of leadership and are there to offer help, They want to be silent partners of the Sunny Club. Franklin says they are fully funded but can take help. Antonio rushes over and introduces himself to Don Bouchard, wanting to show him what he can do for MMA. Don says he knows Antonio’s mother, Yopi Candalaria (Alanna Ubach), scoffing that everyone knows her. The Rev takes the three men to their seats as Franklin warns Antonio to stay clear of those men.

Norah Ellington (Deneed Tyler) counts down to the next part of the show as Margaret spots Don and associates taking their seats. She introduces the Royal Boys choir before Eric is to do his segment. Margaret learns from Franklin why their silent partners are there, suggesting the Rev brought them here to show that she isn’t up to the job. In the hallway, Luke Taylor (Cranston Johnson) sees several photos of who Rev helped. He tries to tell Luke lies, but he isn’t giving up, reminding him that Eugene Monreaux was keeping a lot of secrets from the Sunny Club, and if they came out before the investors of the club, they would be nervous. Rev tells him that Eugene’s secrets still came out.

Eric and Becky are at the Bayou Housing Trust, about to break ground in front of the media. He says his dad brought God to the Bayou. Becky is furious that Margaret gave a great segment to Ginger while she is really pregnant and stuck in the heat. Margaret shows everyone what their missionary money is doing. Eric says they are breaking ground for a new community center, but in the middle of their segment, kids call him a “fake ass turkey”; cutting off the segment. Eugene, in the meantime, sits with Juliette scoffing at Margaret being so naive to put Eric in charge. Juliette says it is not charitable to lie to people.

Rachel (Aqueela Zoll) informs Tina that another holy roller is lurking the parking lot and all the women follow her to stare back at him. Tina comes out frantic, saying he is there for her and for everyone to get inside immediately.

Rose sits with Margaret, saying she enjoys their mother-daughter time and begins to read some of the handwritten letters. She reads one about Ginger, and then a postcard is read, saying he has a crush on her and it is from mark in Colorado (the guy pretending to be Jason). He smirks from the audience as she reads it, realizing it is him. Eugene says Rose is glowing and Juliette says she is in love. Rose opens the next letter but refuses to read it out loud. It says, Ginger Sweet will burn in hell and the wages of sin are death!” The audience gets riled up, people being removed, as Margaret says Ginger has aroused strong feelings but they, together can get through this and calls for a break. Ginger is upset and Antonio leaves to comfort her.

Eric confronts the little girl, calling her rude as Becky demands to know where her parents are. Eric and Becky walk into their house which is flooded because of the river. She shows them how terrible they have been living, giving Eric pause.

Margaret brings Antonio out, who comes without a shirt. He discusses martial arts, rather than cooking. His mother watches as he orders Margaret to stay extremely still; worrying she will break his nose. The audience applauds as Margaret calls him, “my Antonio”, something his mother is furious about, saying he is her son! Rose sits with Ginger who confesses that she always wanted to be on the show, but now that she has her chance, everyone hates her. Rose says they hate the character, Margaret and the Rev created, encouraging her to go on and be herself. Their chat is interrupted when Ginger gets a call from Rachel telling her what is happening at the hotel. Tina won’t let them call the police and Ginger leaves, even though she is up next.

Norah tells Margaret that Ginger is AWOL so Margaret introduces the choir once again. Ginger told her a creepy fan is harassing and scaring her girls. She blames Margaret for riling them up and not stopping them. She tells Ginger they will stop this together, right now! Margaret tells everyone that Ginger’s mother is being threatened and they are a family as violence is never the answer. The creep is in the parking lot opening a holy bible cover that only has a gun inside. Margaret asks Ginger to help them make a change; something she would love to do. Everyone claps. Rachel comes out of the motel and finds the creep gone but there is a letter for Ms. Sweet on a car.

Norah informs Ginger that the man is gone and everyone is okay, hoping she will focus on the show. Margaret tells ginger to be herself. Becky wants Eric to slow down but he is hell-bent on informing his mother that she is profiting on homes that should be condemned. She feels he should take care of this instead of going to his mother. She wants him to turn to her brother, the Reverend and his dad isn’t there so he needs to “man up!”

Margaret sits with Ginger, wanting this to be a teachable moment for everyone and feels there are good people on both sides of this situation. Ginger bursts out laughing, begging her to carry on. Margaret says she isn’t a bad person, but what she did hurt a lot of people; wondering if she thinks all the Christians are dumb. Ginger says she believes too but wants to know if there is no room for provocative thought. Margaret doesn’t want to discuss that, she wants Ginger to understand that her actions have consequences as Ginger reminds her that is not very feminist.

Margaret scoffs are her job as Ginger reminds her that it is her body to do as she pleases. Ginger says she is not a prostitute, not that there is anything wrong with that; naming several prostitutes that are in the Bible, even quoting bible verses. The audience boos her, as Ginger says they are providing for services to men who are not getting what they need at home. Margaret advises her not to play with fire as Ginger tells her she hasn’t even lit the match. Ginger throws it in her face that Margaret obviously wasn’t providing for Eugene as he stepped out with her mother, not just a fling, but someone he loved.

Margaret stares down Ginger, who mocks her, in her imagination. Margaret says she kept her mouth shut after Eugene cheated on her with multiple women but stayed solid to her family and Ginger shouldn’t compare adultery with salvation; women like Ginger are selfish not thinking of what they will destroy. She says when the new and shiny gets dull, the men always return home to their wives. She shouts that after every affair Eugene came back to her and she took him back because of her vows. She calls Ginger a slut, but in reality, she hasn’t said anything back but calls for a commercial.

Eric tells the Rev about Sunny Mission and how it is basically a slumlord. Rev tells him they will speak to their contractors and catch them up on everything after the show. He sees his uncles and they say he was the right man for the job and he better not disappoint them as Eugene did. Becky stares him down. Backstage, Franklin finds Luke and escorts him out, saying he had no right to use his name to get back there, abusing their friendship. Luke reveals that he knows Eric is married to the Reverend’s sister and he seems to know a lot more about Eugene’s secret love children than he is saying. He informs him that Eric and the Rev were whispering with the most powerful men in Louisiana, wanting to know what he is missing. Franklin quotes the Bible to Luke, who isn’t backing down. Franklin tells him he just threw him the bone he promised and excuses Luke.

Ginger is offered a drink, by someone she thought worked for Margaret, when she denies knowing her, she throws a red drink all over Ginger and screams for her to rot in hell before storming off. Rose holds her chest as Ginger gets up. Margaret wants to go to commercial but ginger refuses, shouting that she watched Margaret’s show every day growing up. She learned to cook and read Scripture from her. She dreamed of meeting her one day and being on this stage. Margaret vows this is not what she wanted as Ginger almost believes her; thanking her for the homecoming and walks off the stage. Norah goes to commercial as Tina cries for her daughter. Norah looks at Margaret, saying she doesn’t even know what happened. Margaret overlooks the audience then demands her stool.

Margaret says that was disturbing and feels terrible for the public humiliation Ginger was subjected to. As a mother she tries to guide and protect her family; but today she didn’t accomplish either one of those. She understands everyone’s anger, asking God where to go from there? Threaten and give up on one another, or as Christians/carpenters do they build a bridge to forgiveness? No mocking and no tempting, but invest in themselves and the Ginger Sweets of the world. She gets the cameras to shine on the three investors, who saw something special and gave her and Eugene their shot with the Sunshine Network. Tina sees them and says they all need to get out of town immediately. Margaret continues by saying they may not have saved Ginger today, but they will continue to invest in her as they believe in redemption. She calls out Jason and Norah tells the cameras to find him. She reveals that he was a drug dealer in Colorado but is now saved because God invested in him.

Meanwhile, two of his friends who work at the trailer with the marijuana, saying that is Mark, not Jason. Margaret insists they will guide Ginger back to Christ and everyone applauds her. She says they will be investing in each other every day going forward. Eugene watches the show and opens the cash register at his work, stealing the money. Juliette and security stop him, as he says it is charity. She just says that is thieving as he is escorted away, telling him to keep walking!

Yopi tells Antonio that the thing he did with Margaret really hurt her as he explains Don Bouchard was there. She nods as he insists he needed to make an impression. The Rev finds Ginger outside and apologizes to her as Rachel arrives to pick her up. Rachel thinks the Rev is hot as she hands the letter to Ginger; it is a picture of her mother when she was a lot younger as a showgirl as well as a bullet. Rachel informs her that the three men in the audience are customers; Ginger wants them to record them.

Rose confronts Margaret about putting Jason on camera, wondering who is this best for. She knows the subscriptions are going up but what she did to Ginger was disgusting and their fighting is tiring. Margaret is tired of working her ass off to only have her daughters tell her how disappointed they are in her. Rose reiterates the sentiment before leaving.

The Rev speaks to their investors about the housing situation; them toasting to being there for those people and to charity. The creep comes in, saying he sent them a message, making the Rev happy. He says it is good and the fellas shouldn’t be worried because as long as the ladies are fighting, the right doesn’t know what the left is doing; they all laugh.

Eric is back on the porn site, talking to Rachel, who really wants to see him. He finally lifts the camera and shows his face. She is shocked that it is him. He smiles, saying he is the guy, Rachel unsure what to say. Franklin tells Margaret the numbers are rising quickly, both figuring out how to get the investors to put more money into their franchise.

THE END!
