General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will hope her double wedding idea pans out. GH fans know Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) didn’t look too enthusiastic, but Maxie has a way of getting what she wants.
Plus, it would certainly be special for Peter August (Wes Ramsey) to share his special day with Maxie, Anna and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). It’s a big family love fest!
If this double wedding moves forward, it could serve as the backdrop for several shocking exposures. There are some huge secrets in Port Charles just waiting to be revealed – many of which relate to the characters involved here.
Since we’re getting double the nuptials, that doubles the chances for bombs to drop. Here are six explosive secrets that could be exposed at this double wedding.
1) Dante still programmed and a deadly threat
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is still programmed thanks to Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins) using him as a pawn in Dr. Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) game. However, Dr. Kirk has always worried that Dante could lose control.
There’s been talk about other victims becoming consequences of this mission, so Dante could easily go off at the ceremony and pose a serious threat.
2) Peter’s horrible history and even worse cover-up
Peter has a horrible history he’ll never be able to outrun. He should’ve just been honest with Maxie about the extent of his memory-mapping project involvement. Instead, Peter’s made even worse moves as part of his cover-up.
Peter made sure Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) plane went down, ordered hits on Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery as well as Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and set Liesl up to go down for his crimes. This double wedding might be the perfect time and place for Peter to be exposed as a lying manipulator.
3) Finn’s past with Jackie comes to light
Of course, a double wedding means we have to consider what might happen on Anna and Finn’s side of things, too. Finn has some buried secrets in his past – and it’s about Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney). General Hospital fans know Finn slept with Jackie the knight before her wedding to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison).
To make matters worse, Finn has kept Gregory at a distance ever since. He let Gregory believe the rift was due to Gregory getting together with Jackie so soon after the death of Finn’s mother. There’s a chance Finn’s shocker could finally come to light on his wedding day, so there could be terrible fallout.
4) Chase’s paternity called into question
Based on the timing of when Finn slept with Jackie, Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) paternity could be called into questions. That’s another bombshell that might result from the affair secret exploding at the double nuptials. It could really add to the shock and horror of this ceremony that’s sure to go horribly wrong.
5) Alex still alive and back to stir up trouble
Naturally, there’s a good chance Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) is still alive. It’s just a matter of when Alex will reenter the picture. It’d bring some stunning moments if Alex crashed the ceremony and caused total chaos. Alex’s return alone would be quite a shock to Anna, Peter and all their loved ones.
6) Anna’s NOT Peter’s true mother
Alex’s return could also bring out the truth about her being Peter’s true mother. That’s a secret that definitely needs to go public soon, so it’d be great if Mommy dearest could do it herself! Some wild stuff is set to play out on this double wedding day, so stay tuned.
