General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that there’s some big news to pass along. Many GH fans were upset to hear about William deVry (Julian Jerome) and Emme Rylan (Lulu Spencer) getting fired – especially since more cast cuts are reportedly to come.
We could also use some positivity right now, so let’s talk about an exciting return – the return of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers)!
There aren’t a lot of details available just yet since this is a new hot scoop. However, some GH insiders have been spreading the word about an interview Constance Towers gave. Towers apparently let it slip that she’s been taping some scenes at home that’ll air on General Hospital in the coming weeks.
This is certainly exciting to hear, particularly since the exit drama has plenty of GH fans feeling glum. We can only hope that General Hospital is making room for huge returns like this one.
Of course, Helena’s return sounds like it’ll be short-term since Towers isn’t actually at the studio filming. It seems more like Helena’s return will serve a specific purpose, so this could tie in with Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) downfall.
Regardless, even a visit is better than nothing! Constance Towers is always fabulous in the role – and Helena always shakes things up like only she can.
General Hospital spoilers say some fantastic November sweeps mayhem is coming up, so we should see Helena pop up as part of that chaos.
Towers appeared earlier this year in some fantasy scenes with James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine) – back when Valentin was wrestling with the shock of not being a true Cassadine.
GH fans still don’t know who Valentin’s biological father is, so it’d be great if viewers find out his identity down the road.
