General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will continue to step up for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is responsible for the death of Trina’s dad, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews), so Curtis certainly doesn’t want him taking anyone else in the family out.
Nevertheless, there’s a risk of more trouble. Trina’s still scared and traumatized by the kidnapping ordeal, which led to a shootout and Taggert’s demise. It’s been a lot for Trina to deal with and that’s part of why Trina’s being so hard on Curtis. Although Trina loathes Curtis right now, is there anything that could change her mind?
General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will remain invested in protecting Portia and Trina. Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) won’t be happy about the added risk and will likely be a bit jealous. Nevertheless, Curtis will refuse to drop his guard as long as Cyrus is living and breathing in Port Charles.
Since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) aren’t prepared to murder Cyrus just yet, that brings more opportunities for danger to erupt. If there’s one thing that might win Trina over, it might be Curtis rescuing Portia.
Trina has barely been able to deal with the death of her father, so can you imagine if she’s afraid she’ll lose her mother, too? As the Cyrus peril revs up, Trina may be a mess. GH has set the stage for Curtis to play the hero again since he recently stood up to Cyrus.
It’s easy to see how Curtis might land in harm’s way trying to protect Portia. Curtis would do whatever it took to keep his former flame and Trina’s mom alive. If Curtis takes a bullet for Portia or something along those lines, it’d be the perfect way to soften Trina toward Curtis.
That’s important since Curtis is most likely Trina’s biological father. We’re not buying Portia’s claim that Trina is Taggert’s daughter since she’s to Curtis lied before. The timing fits too perfectly, and Portia’s seemed a little uneasy about the daughter topic lately anyway.
Plus, Trina’s irrational anger toward Curtis just screams, “I hate you, Daddy!” We’ve seen soaps go down this road plenty of times. If Curtis saves Portia’s life, would it convince her to come clean to Curtis and Trina? Will Trina accept her bio dad because he rescued her mom?
