General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) may soon feel downright unstoppable. GH fans know Cyrus boldly went after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) recently by having Julian Jerome (William deVry) plant that bomb.
Cyrus was more than willing to blow up The Floating Rib and didn’t care if it meant there’d be more casualties of war.
It’s clear that Cyrus will stop at nothing to make sure he’s running the show in Port Charles. However, Cyrus may soon realize he’s been attacking this problem from the wrong angle.
Cyrus has been plotting to take out Jason first, which would make it easier to get rid of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Perhaps Cyrus needs to skip all the attempts on Jason’s life and just go for the rival he really wants.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will land in grave danger soon. There’s some solid buzz about Sonny battling amnesia in the aftermath. It might be another explosion that leaves Sonny missing and possibly presumed dead.
Whether Cyrus is to blame or this is just his lucky twist of fate, he’ll soon have the freedom he’s looking for. Sonny won’t be standing in the way of Cyrus’ drug trafficking operation or any other plans he has for Port Charles.
Cyrus will be able to do whatever he wants – and that could spell serious trouble for all PC residents.
Of course, Cyrus will want to look into this carefully to make sure it’s not another Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) situation. Nevertheless, the genuine reaction of Sonny’s nearest and dearest may tell Cyrus everything he needs to know.
Cyrus may soon be convinced that Sonny’s no longer an obstacle – that he’s the only true force to be reckoned with in Port Charles.
You can bet Jason will step up and do whatever he can to protect the Corinthos clan in Sonny’s absence. Jason will probably be glad Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) dumped him since there’ll be so much risk – and Jason will be right in the center of the Cyrus storm.
General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus could easily plot more attacks on Sonny’s family. Just because Sonny’s out of the way doesn’t mean Cyrus will leave them alone. Cyrus has a pretty twisted mind and could cause vengeful issues down the road.
Regardless, the fact that Cyrus will be allowed to do anything he pleases is concerning. Sonny won’t be around to keep Cyrus under control, so that could lead to deadly drama. We’ll fill you in as other GH news and updates emerge.
